Group A leaders Creative Support began Round 3 on Pitch A against Atlantic Star. The latter team had so far put in two good performances but had no reward for their efforts losing by the odd goal on each occasion. The same fate was to befall them in their third game too. Dave O'Brien scored his 2 nd of the day although it was only to prove a consolation as Andy Armstrong's double strike gave them a 2-1 win to keep them in joint first place on 7 points.

 
 
 

Basford United had the opportunity to join Creative Support on top of the table with their next fixture. Before the game, the talk from the Basford United camp was about goal difference given how tight it was at the top. It was a shrewd observation and something that Wafty Crankers must have wished had gone unnoticed. The determination to and win bag from Basford produced a relentless display and the Wafty Crankers were shown no mercy. Basford United hit their opponents hard and ran out 9-0 winners which included two hat-tricks from Lee Carter (3) and James Needham (4). A second goal of the day from PJ Shiggins and a debut tournament goal from Aidan Shiggins completed the scoring.
 
 
 

Given the above two results, Bull Heads needed to win in order to keep pace with the other two table-toppers. They would play Wife Can't Wrestle who were only 1 point behind them and had the opportunity to move into 3rd place themselves which would tuck them in nicely just a point behind the leaders. The Bull Heads proved why they were the current Amsterdam champions by pulling off the result they needed. Robbie Evans opened his account for the day with two goals and Jose Fernandes scored his second in three matches to cancel out Daniel Small's goal for the Irish team who remained in 4th place. The Bull Heads rejoined the three-way tie at the top sitting in 2nd place courtesy of goal difference.
