Grant Thornton become second French team to win eurofootballfives title!

Grant Thornton became the 2nd team from France to win a eurofootballfives.com title when they claimed the 2013 Mallorca Fives title. It was a long wait for France after the 2009 Barca Fives was claimed by Luminy Wolves.

It was a superb victory for Grant Thornton who defeated 2011 Valencia Fives and 2012 Krakow Trophy champions Skidmarks. The English team narrowly missed out on becoming only the second team to win their first three tournaments.  Olympic Phil Babb's tremendous record of 4 wins in their first 4 tournaments still stands and stands out!

In the Plate competition there was Spanish success for Son Gual who narrowly defeated Coverton Road 1-0.

The personal honours of the day went to France also as Cedric Castarede claimed the top goalscorer prize with 7 goals in 7 games.
