Fabryka
Zieleni were home to The Post Office in the
next game. The Post Office were riding the crest
of a wave with two wins from their last two
games. This game would represent a monumental
challenge though. Just how big a challenge?
Well,
in the 2018 edition of this tournament Fabryka
Zieleni recorded 5 wins out of 5 in the group
phase and today they had 3 wins out of 3. They
had a 100% record in the group phase and spanning
that 8 game run they had scored a whopping 47
goals and conceded just 4. The Post Office –
we wish you luck!
The
game went with the form book as Fabryka Zieleni
opened the scoring. Lukasz Abryszinksi scored
his eighth goal of the tournament to put his
team ahead. Him and Andrej Mechlinski were forming
a deadly partnership with both players scoring
in evety game to date as Mechlinski made it
2-0. Those two players then extended that lead
to 4-0.
Rick
Edwards scored The Post Office's first goal
of the tournament and he was to score their
latest as he prevented Igor Koda walking off
with a clean sheet for the Polish team.
