At the start of Round 4 it was the big match-up of Group B: Big Time Krakow versus Fabryka Zieleni.

Both these teams were unbeaten, both had 100% records so far. Big Time Krakow were 3 from 3, Fabryka Zieleni were 2 from 2. Both teams were in the goals with 25 already scored between them and just 3 conceded. Although only at the mid-way stage of the group this game could well determine who would go on and win the group.

After the early passages of play it was Fabryka Zieleni who hit the front. Andrej Mechlinsk kept up his record of scoring in every game. Big Time Krakow hit back though and cancelled out that lead thanks to a strike from Stanimir Ribarov.

Fabryka Zieleni forged ahead again with Lukasz Abryzinski putting them ahead. Mateusz Janowski's goal may well have been the crucial one as it put Fabryka Zieleni 3-1 up and breathing space. Lukasz Abryzinski then killed the game off as he made it 4-1.

RAF Boulmer A were next up on Pitch B as they took on DDCH. RAF Boulmer A had been involved in two close games so far. They benefitted from a late goal in their opener to secure a draw but fell to defeat to a late goal in their last game.

DDCH were looking for their first points after an admittedly tough start. The margin of defeats were diminishing though – 5-1, 3-0, 2-0. Could this be the game where they turned their fortunes around?

We were treated to a great game – particularly if you were DDCH – as we had 7 goals to savour. Jay James Barrington scored the opener for the men in LA Galaxy shirts as they were ahead for the first time today. That lead didn't last long though as Ben Blundell levelled it up with his third goal of the day – all of them equalisers.

There had been a number of own goals today and DDCH were the latest beneficiaries. The referee spared the defender's blushes on the scoresheet but it didn't matter too much to DDCH as they were back in front. Donavan De Jong scored a double as DDCH took full advantage of the OG to then extend the lead to 4-1. Emmanuel Olobio got in on the act to make it 5-1 and their first win was incoming.

RAF Boulmer A had the final say though. Andrew Chingwalu reduced the deficit to 5-2 but sadly for him and his team it was a mere consolation.

Game 12 of Group B was The Post Office versus Pink Lloyd B. The Post Office came into this game on the back of their first European victory. Another would send them up to third position.

Pink Lloyd B were currently at the foot of the Group B table but they had only played the top two so far. Could they prosper against a team outside of the Cup qualification places?

The Post Office continued their momentum from the last game as they took the lead here. Chris Fairbairn scored twice in the previous fixture and he was amongst the goals again to put his team 1-0 up. Pink Lloyd B scored their first goal of the tournament last time out and were to celebrate another here – Steve Allen putting his team back on level terms at 1-1.

Chris Fairbairn could do no wrong in front of goal at the moment and he put The Post Office back in front at 2-1. He then completed his hat-trick which secured all 3 points as The Post Office continued their climb up the table.
