With 7 teams in each group, 1 team would sit out each round. In Round 1 it was Rain Dragons but they would kick us off in the second round of fixtures having had a chance to evaluate their opposition from Round 1. They were up against TaHU.

In their first game, TaHU had suffered a 4-1 defeat to RAF Boulmer B. They would no doubt be looking to get their first points on the board as soon as possible. If they were to do so, they would need to come from behind in this fixture.

The opening goal of this game was a cracker. Ben Care scored the fastest goal of the day – pretty much direct from the kick-off and with only 7 seconds on the clock he raced through the TaHU defence and applied the finish for 1-0. Tom Care kept the goals in the family as he doubled the lead to 2-0.

There was a sense of déjà vu for TaHU. They went 2-0 down in Round 1 before getting a goal back to 2-1. They were to repeat the feat here as Antti Linkomaki opened his personal account for the day. Ben Care finished the game as he started it – scoring goals. He went on to complete a personal hat-trick for him and a 4-1 win for his team.

 
 
 

In the next game we had Alea Iacta Est who would finally get their first taste of action on the field of play. Due to the late cancellation of TS Marpoli, they missed out on their first game but would get their campaign underway in earnest here. We apologise for the delay.

In the way of Alea Iacta Est stood Pink Lloyd A. Pink Lloyd A were up against Polish opposition for the second time in as many games. They lost their opener 3-0 and things were to get worse, much worse in this one. Alea Iacta Est were making up for lost time with the late start and put Pink Lloyd A to the sword.

Piotr Malenczak made the early breakthrough and his team never looked back. A double from Pedro Silveira made it 3-0 which preceded goals from Michal Sklodowski, Rafal Krukowski and another from Piotr Malenczak. Pink Lloyd A had been hit for six but Alea Iacta Est didn't stop there. Michal Sklodowski added his second of the game and Artur Aksamit rounded off a superb 8-0 victory.

 
 
 

The final schedule game of Round 2 was RAF Boulmer B against TS Marpoli. All teams in Group A would receive a 3-0 walkover against TS Marpoli. RAF Boulmer B collected their 3 points and would have a little more time to prepare for their next fixture.
