FC
Miracle were next in action against Bure Park
Old Boys. These teams have met before all the
way back in 2012 at the Valencia Fives. It was
in the Cup Quarter-Finals as FC Miracle won
4-2 on their way to winning the Valencia Fives
title.
FC
Miracle were currently top of the table and
had their fate in their own hands. Win this
game and they would secure not only Cup qualification
but also the Group B title. A draw would open
the door for FC Poloboc or Dickie Dogs to climb
above them depending on who won the final fixture
in the group.
The
pressure was really going to be on Bure Park
Old Boys but AFC Shooters heavy defeat had made
their life easier to qualify for the Plate.
They would progress as long as they didn't lose
by 6. FC Miracle had already hit 5 goals twice
in Group B so Bure Park Old Boys would need
to be on their guard.
FC
Miracle went on to win this game and clinch
the Group B title – well done to them. Zsolt
Laszlo and Gergely Nemeth goals secured a 2-0
win. Obviously Bure Park Old Boys would have
wanted a positive result but this result was
good enough to extend their stay in the 2023
Barcelona Veterans. AFC Shooters were out.
