Congratulations
to Humble Goats, the 2026 Amsterdam Sixes Cup
champions. They had to dig deep to claim the title,
overcoming an outstanding Hilfe FC side in a dramatic
final that finished 1–1 before Humble Goats held
their nerve to prevail 2–0 in the penalty shootout.
It was a fitting conclusion to a tournament in
which both teams impressed from start to finish,
emerging from Group B before going all the way
to the showpiece. For Humble Goats, the triumph
was richly deserved and added another chapter
to an already remarkable eurofootballfives.com
story. Having lifted the Amsterdam Sevens title
in both 2022 and 2023, and finished runners-up
in the Amsterdam Sixes in 2022 and 2024, they
finally completed the set by becoming Amsterdam
Sixes champions for the first time in 2026. Congratulations
to everyone involved on another outstanding achievement.
The
Plate competition also produced a worthy winner
in 6Guys, who showed tremendous resilience to
end the day on a high. After beginning the tournament
with two successive 1–0 victories, they suffered
a difficult spell with back-to-back defeats that
threatened to derail their campaign. Rather than
letting those setbacks define them, 6Guys responded
brilliantly, putting together three consecutive
victories to lift the Plate trophy. Their 3–1
victory over Victory United in the final was an
excellent performance and reward for a team that
continued to improve as the tournament progressed.
It was an excellent debut appearances in Amsterdam.
Our
thanks go to everyone who helped make the 2026
Amsterdam Sixes another fantastic occasion. From
first-time participants to experienced eurofootballfives.com
regulars, the standard of football and atmosphere
throughout the day was outstanding. We hope everyone
enjoyed their time both on and off the pitch,
made lasting memories, and left Amsterdam with
plenty to smile about. We look forward to welcoming
you all back to another eurofootballfives.com
event in the near future. Safe travels, and we'll
see you again soon.
