The Plate Semi-Final stage saw Dnipro, third-place finishers from Group A, take on FC23, who ended in fourth place from Group B. With memories of a heavy 5-1 defeat at this stage to Turn Down For Watford in 2022, Dnipro were determined to rewrite their narrative. Today, they delivered a commanding performance, securing a comprehensive 4-0 victory over FC23.

The match began with Dnipro quickly asserting their dominance. Pasha Melnyk opened the scoring with a clinical finish, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Karim Elbaz then doubled the lead, showcasing his sharp attacking instincts. As the first half progressed, Elbaz struck again, making it 3-0 before halftime. Dnipro's fluid attacking play and solid defence left FC23 with no way back into the game.

The second half saw FC23 attempting to mount a comeback, but Dnipro's defence remained impenetrable. Any hopes of a FC23 revival were dashed when Gerard Kock added a fourth goal for Dnipro, sealing the outcome. Despite their efforts, FC23 could not break through Dnipro's resolute backline.

The final whistle confirmed a 4-0 victory for Dnipro, who advanced to the Plate Final with an impressive and dominant performance. This win marked a significant turnaround from their previous semi-final experience, demonstrating their growth and determination. FC23, despite their spirited effort, were unable to overcome the well-drilled Dnipro side and bowed out of the tournament.

The second Plate Semi-Final featured Shaheens United, whose title defence had come to an end. They were up against the inconsistent but dangerous Los Perros. Despite the disappointment of failing to retain their title, Shaheens United aimed to showcase the high standard of today's tournament by securing the Plate. They boasted the second-best defence, having conceded just two goals thus far. Los Perros, on the other hand, had experienced a mixed run of form with two wins, a draw, and two losses.

The match kicked off with Los Perros showing early intent, and Wesley Donkers soon gave them the lead with a well-placed shot. Shaheens United, known for their resilience, responded with determination. Leroy Cheng, who had played well throughout the tournament, scored the equalizer, ensuring the game was tied at 1-1.

The teams continued to battle hard, but neither could find the breakthrough. Shaheens United's defence, which had been rock solid all day, stood firm against Los Perros' attacks. At the other end Marcel Ons reputation in the Los Perros goal was burgeoning – he'd made many notable saves during the tournament today. The game ended 1-1, and Shaheens United maintained their unbeaten record in normal time.

The match went to penalties, where the tension was palpable. Both teams missed their first penalties, heightening the drama. Shaheens United then went 1-0 up with a composed finish. Los Perros faltered again, missing their second penalty, which left them trailing. Shaheens United capitalised on this and scored their third penalty to seal the victory.
