Game 7 of Group B was an important fixture for both Team Tapas and ZVC Indoor Gent.

ZVC made their debut at the 2015 Mallorca Tournament. It was so close to being the perfect debut. They looked good from the start with a 3-0 win over Seleccion Balear (2015 & 2017 Plate winners, 2017 Mallorca Fives Cup winners as Valecuatro) and a 3-1 win over The Drip Trays. The 100% run continued with a 4-0 win over Contejus Hurricanes (Algarve Open 2012 Plate winners) and a 3-1 win over Scoregasm. They finished the group with a 1-0 defeat to Peluqueria Mariano but it didn't matter as they qualified for the Cup anyway.

In the Cup Quarter-Final they drew 0-0 with La Briocha and went through 3-2 on penalties. In the Semi-Final they got their revenge on Peluqueria Mariano (2016 Mallorca Tournament Cup winners) after a 1-1 draw and another 3-2 penalty win. They met Ireland's Saipan FC in the Cup Final and narrowly lost 1-0.

After opening game defeat, ZVC Indoor Gent were back on track with a 5-0 win last time out. Team Tapas had 2 wins out of 2 and goalkeeper Wouter Sanchez was yet to concede. However, that was all about to change. It was perhaps no surprise that ZVC Indoor Gent won the game as they were a quality team but the margin of victory against a team with a 100% record was sensational.

ZVC Indoor Gent ran out 5-1 winners with Tommy Jacobs scoring 4 for the second game running with Michael Ingels also on target.

East Anglia Dons were back on the field in the Sixes in game 8 of Group B. They would face Kavlow in each team's third fixture of the day.

The group was delicately poised so far – we had ZVC Indoor Gent and Team Tapas on 6 points at the top. East Anglia Dons could join those teams with a victory here but it would not be easy as they were up against unbeaten Kavlow and also because they lost 5-0 in their last game.

Kavlow could go to the top of the table if they were to win this game. With the match underway it was Kavlow who took the lead thanks to Jeremy Tudorpole who scored for the third successive game. The same man made it 2-0 before Jonathan Shea opened his personal account to make it 3-0. Robert St Pierre also scored his first of the tournament to make it 4-0.

Kavlow returned to winning ways and the had a 1 point lead at the top of Group B.

To complete Round 3 we had FC Gijon versus Shamrock Football Club. This was a repeat of the 2018 Amsterdam Sixes Plate Semi-Final.

Last year it was FC Gijon who came out on top in this encounter as Kieran Eastwood and 2 goals from Connor Seymour combined with Chris Jones third clean sheet of the day which saw the English team victorious. This promised to be a great re-match as FC Gijon had 8 of the 9 players who played in this fixture last year. 6 of the 10 players in Shamrock Football Club's squad today played in this game 12 months ago.

FC Gijon were so far without a point today and they arguably needed the points more in this game but they were to fall behind again as Jonny Wray put the team from Switzerland 1-0 up. It was a goal that gave his team a 1-0 lead at half-time.

If Shamrock Football Club could go on and win this game they would move up to fourth place in the table and be right in touch with the leaders. However, Connor Seymoure scored for FC Gijon as he did in this game last year to make it 1-1. It would not be enough to earn his team a first point though as Fraser Butler put Shamrock Football Club back in front at 2-1 which is how we finished. It was a vital 3 points for his team.
