The
next game on Pitch 4 was RSC Andylecht versus
Giggs Boson FC. Giggs Boson FC drew a tough
group at their most recent appearance - the
2018 Lisbon Tournament. The group was so difficult
that Spain's Naranjitos who had a 100% win record
from 7 games in Barcelona only finish 5th in
the table. Giggs Boson were 6th – the group
also featured the 2016 Krakow Trophy champions.
Giggs Boson went into the Trophy and picked
up a 5-1 Quarter-Final win over FC United of
Bob. They then succumbed 2-0 to Tysers in the
Semi-Finals. How will they fare in Sixes action?
Giggs
Boson FC had lost their opening game by the
odd goal and when they reached half-time here
they found themselves 2-1 down. Andy Sumner
scored for the second game in a row for RSC
Andylecht but Will Davis levelled things up
for Giggs Boson. Andy Sumner then scored his
third of the tournament to make it 2-1 at half-time.
So
far this morning RSC Andylecht had taken the
lead four times. They were pegged back twice
and lost their first game. Here they had been
pegged back once but managed to hold on to the
2-1 lead as they went on to complete their first
victory of the day.
