Game 7 of Group B was an important fixture for both Spider Mans & Eagle and Ladzio FC. Ladzio FC were joint top of the table and looking to keep up their 100% record.

Earlier in this report we mentioned Spider Mans & Eagle's previous Amsterdam experience. Their full eurofootballfives.com CV goes beyond Amsterdam though. They made an impressive debut at the 2014 Bratislava Fives. They lost their first game, 3-0, to eventual champions CIS Committee but bounced back in style. 2-0 and 3-1 victories followed before a 2-2 draw consolidated their progress. They finished off the group with a 3-0 win to take 2 nd place and qualify for the Cup. In the Quarter-Finals they battled out a 2-2 draw with Shahs of Sunset before a penalty shoot-out saw them exit the competition. Fast forward to May 2015 and they appeared at the 2015 Budapest Fives finishing 3rd in a group that would also contain the eventual champions. They qualified for the Cup and recorded a thumping 5-0 win in the Quarter-Finals before meeting CIS Committee in the Semi-Finals. They lost to them in Bratislava and were to do so again in Budapest but it was a good performance despite the 3-1 defeat.

Next up was the 2015 Lisbon Tournament. They proved to be the draw specialists of the tournament with 4 draws out of 5 which hindered their league progress and so they finished 5th. The knock-out phase saw yet another draw and so they would go to penalties with “Where's Dave?” – the latter winning an epic shoot-out, 5-4.

Their most successful appearance to date was the 2016 Krakow Trophy. They were impressive from the very start recording a 5-1 win and going on to win all 5 of their group games scoring an amazing 23 goals in the process and conceding just 3. They beat Italy's Football Bassano MMIII in the Quarter-Finals and their own sister squad, Spider Mans & Great Hawk, in the Semi-Finals. It set up an epic battle in the Cup Final against Tinniedad & Tobacco which was 5-2 by the Tinnies.

Then came Amsterdam July 2016 (see Round 1) before their most recent appearance was at the 2017 Budapest Fives. Another good performance in the group phase saw them finish in 2 nd place with 10 points from a possible 15. They drew Budapest Celtic Hoops in the Quarter-Finals and were pipped, 2-1. Budapest Celtic Hoops went on to win the tournament.

Spider Mans & Eagle were winning this one with a first half goal from Sam A'Court and looked to be on course for their second win. Ladzio FC had other ideas though with two late goals from Jas Bhattle and Shabaz Ahmad.

It kept Ladzio FC's 100% record going and they lead Group B with a maximum 9 points.

Toros were back on the field in the Sixes in game 8 of Group B. As Vieze Vu they were unbeaten in the Fives (1 win, 2 draws) and on the field had 1 win here in the Sixes. Would the workload catch up with them by competing in both tournaments?

If it was it wasn't showing as Toros raced into a 4-0 lead in the first half. Tim Van Gelder was scoring goals aplenty in the Fives and had now scored three goals in the Sixes as he put his team ahead here. Max Van Gelder was getting in on the act too as he scored a first half hat-trick to put Toros in charge.

Purnell Youth were also involved in both the Fives and the Sixes but they had two totally different squads of 8 (Sixes) and 6 (Fives) fleshed out with members of the opposite squads to flesh out the squads to register the full 10 players permitted in each.

They'd had a slow start in the Sixes but their form picked up a little after the break as Brad Hooper continued a good start for him at the tournament personally. He scored in the opening game and added two more to his tally here. It wasn't enough to get his team fully back into the game but maybe it would turn their fortunes around. Tim Van Gelder scored his fourth goal in the Sixes as Toros completed a 5-2 win.

To complete Round 3 of Group B we had Bull Fossils A versus TEDO3. It was fifth versus first at the start of the round but TEDO3 had since slipped to second due to Ladzio FC's third victory. TEDO3 could head back to the top with a win of their own here.

If Bull Fossils A could pick up a victory they would give themselves a chance of Plate qualification although they would remain fifth for the time-being unless it was a win of massive proportions. If they were to pick up a win they would need to come from behind as Sjef Ketelaars put the Dutch team 1-0 up. In the second half Joris Vogel added a second complete a 2-0 win.

TEDO3 went back to the top with 9 points and they were on top of the table due to a superior goal difference compared to Ladzio FC.
