KPMG
WFC and Womblettes started the ball rolling with
victories and 3 points each in simultaneous kick-offs
in Group A. KPMG WFC picked up a 3-1 victory over
Portuguese side CAAF Alte A. Goals from Emma
Jesse (2) and Clare Palmer were enough to see
off the challenge of the local team. Goal difference
could be potentially vital for Cup or Plate qualification
and so Michaela Lopez's consolation for CAAF Alte
A may prove vital in this group.

Heroes. Amy Butcher got the show on the road to
put the home' side 1-0 up. The job was completed
with a brace from Thea Carroll.

minutes later and the opening games in group A
were completed with Padernesne entertaining Godalming
Yellows. Padernesne looked untroubled as they
joined Womblettes at the top of the group with
a 3-0 victory. Lucia with the Portuguese sides
first of the tournament followed by a double strike
from Bela.
