As we entered the fifth round of games each match was becoming progressively more important. Games were running out and points were becoming increasingly valuable.

The Warriors came into this game needing a win. It seems a funny thing to say for a team that was still unbeaten at this stage. However, they had 2 wins and 2 draws and those draws could well be the difference between taking the title and just missing out. Bure Park Old Boys were in fourth position in the table but had a game in hand in 2 of the 3 teams above them. A win for them would mean the top four would be separated by just two points.

When The Warriors had met Bure Park Seniors earlier in the day they'd secured a 1-0 defeat. Could they do the Bure Park double or could the Old Boys secure a win that would keep them in the hunt for this inaugural SuperVets title?

It was Bure Park Old Boys who struck first with Larry Moore opening the scoring in the first half. Amazingly, it was the first goal The Warriors had conceded today. Should the result stay the same this was a good result not just for Bure Park Old Boys but also Peebles All Stars and Polonia Limerick. The Warriors' rivals would then have been delighted to see Nathan Vicentijevic's second goal of the tournament put Bure Park Old Boys 2-0 up and cement a fantastic win. Bure Park Old Boys were still in the mix for this title.

Game 15 was Pork Vale versus Los Amblos. It was currently the team in sixth versus the team in fifth. A win for Pork Vale would see them climb above their opponents. For Los Amblos, a win would see them cement fifth position and have a 4 point lead over their opponents. They would then have a chance to break into the top four in the final couple of rounds.

This was game 4 of the tournament for Pork Vale and they'd got off to a fast start in all previous games scoring in the first half on every occasion. John O'Donnell was the man with the goal this time. It was the third time in four games they had opened the scoring but they had not yet gone onto win. Could they change that here?

They had every chance when Andy Cross' third goal of the tournament extended that lead to 2-0. The luxury of a two goal cushion did not last for long though as Adrian Chester reduced the arrears to 2-1 before the break.

Pork Vale would have been disappointed to see 1-0 leads in previous games not result in a victory. If could have been a morale killer if they would see a 2-0 lead disappear here. They would not need to worry though as a Paul Johnstone's second of the tournament re-established a two goal lead at 3-1. The goal headed off a Los Amblos comeback and earned Pork Vale their first victory in eurofootballfives.com competition.
