Fiorentina Turner 2 were looking to avenge defeat at the 2017 Barcelona Fives Plate Final to LT United. They had 2 men in their squad today that played in that final – Matt Hanson and Matt Carpenter.

One of those Matt's – Hanson – was the man to open the scoring for Fiorentina Turner 2. He scored in that Barcelona final and he was on target in this Mallorca final. Alex Villers doubled the lead to 2-0 and the Plate victory was in their own hands.

3 Lions FC were not finished yet. They had lost 3 finals in our tournaments and were desperately trying to avoid a fourth. A Mike Parker goal got them pack to 2-1 and a penalty for Alex Mott gave them a chance to get right back into it. Alex Villers made the save.

That was that for 3 Lions FC. Matt Carpenter made it 3-1 to Fiorentina Turner 2 and they had broken the resistance of their opponents.
