The second half kicked off with everything still very much in the balance but saw Sporting Armada extend their lead with another goal from McCreight, who continued his impressive form. With the game seemingly heading towards a 2-0 victory for Sporting Armada, the final minute brought a dramatic turn.

Charlie Thompson scored for Barrymoore's Swimming Club, reducing the deficit to 2-1 and setting up a tense finish as Barrymoore's searched for the crucial equalizer (which is all they needed). However, Sporting Armada's Will Ashenden dashed Barrymoore's hopes with a decisive strike in the dying moments of the game, making it 3-1. It proved to be the last kick of the match.
