Solly March FC, in need of a win to keep their Cup hopes alive despite just the one defeat so far, delivered a standout performance against the previously unbeaten World Pinteur. Despite World Pinteur's solid start to the tournament, they had drawn their last two matches against the teams at the top and the bottom and needed to turn draws into wins.

The game kicked off with Solly March FC displaying their intent from the outset. Tony Wood broke the deadlock early on, continuing his impressive form by scoring for the second game in a row, giving Solly March a 1-0 lead. His goal provided a crucial boost and set the tone for the match. Scott Jessop then doubled the advantage, putting Solly March FC 2-0 up before half-time. His strike cemented their control over the game and left World Pinteur with a significant challenge to overcome in the second half.

World Pinteur struggled to find the rhythm of their previous game and their defensive solidity deserted them. They failed to respond effectively to Solly March FC's offensive prowess. Ian Rosie capped off a superb team performance with a third goal in the second half, sealing a comprehensive 3-0 victory for Solly March FC.

The result was a vital one for Solly March FC, who not only secured a much-needed win but also kept their Cup qualification hopes alive. World Pinteur saw their unbeaten run go up in smoke and will need to regroup quickly for their final group match to ensure their place in the Cup.

Big Time Krakow last appeared in the 2023 edition of this tournament. They had a steady start with a 0-0 draw against Cream of the South and 1-1 draw against RAF. They got their first win on the board with a 1-0 victory over CBT FC but then tasted defeat (2-1) to Mngball FC. They finished off with a 1-0 win over Turn Down For Watford to qualify for the Plate. In the Semi-Finals a third 1-0 victory of the day saw them knockout Moles Salah. They met Mngball FC in the Plate Final (the only team to defeat them all day) but exacted their revenge with a 2-0 win to lift the Plate trophy.

Today, Big Time Krakow would be hoping to reach the Cup instead of the Plate. They were currently in fourth position so really needed a win to boost their chances. The Polish team would meet Third Degree Burnley in Round 4. The Burnley side were currently at the foot of the table but a win here would put them in the mix for qualification from the group.

The first half ended goalless, with both teams struggling to break the deadlock. Third Degree Burnley, despite their efforts, could not find the back of the net, while Big Time Krakow also faced difficulties in turning their chances into goals. The breakthrough came in the second half, when Kevin Ezequiel scored the only goal of the match for Big Time Krakow. His strike proved to be the decisive factor, as Big Time Krakow held on to secure the win. The result was a vital boost for the Polish team who climbed to second place in the table with this hard-fought victory. For Third Degree Burnley, the defeat meant they remained in sixth place, still searching for a breakthrough performance to improve their position in the standings.

RSC Andylecht were making their fifth appearance in our tournaments having previously travelled to our events in the Algarve, Amsterdam, Mallorca and Barcelona. In those events they'd enjoyed runs to the Cup Quarter-Finals (twice) and the Plate Semi-Finals (twice). At the start of play they were in third position on the cusp between Cup and Plate qualification. They had their toughest test of the day so far as they entertained the league-leaders, Ball Bashers FC.

Ball Bashers FC could secure Cup qualification with a victory here as they remained unbeaten with 7 points from a possible 9 to date. In a match that proved crucial for both sides, Ball Bashers edged out RSC Andylecht 2-1 in a tightly contested battle.

The first half saw both teams fail to break the deadlock, with the scoreline remaining 0-0 at the interval. RSC Andylecht came out strong in the second half, and Josh Thorpe put them ahead with a well-taken goal. At this stage they were on course for a famous victory. However, Ball Bashers quickly responded, with Callum Carson scoring to bring the game back to level terms. The match continued to be closely contested, but it was Ben Williams who secured the win for Ball Bashers. Williams, who had been in impressive form throughout the tournament, scored the decisive goal—his third of the tournament—to ensure Ball Bashers left with all three points.

This victory was a significant boost for Ball Bashers as they clinched their place in the Cup. The defeat was tough on RSC Andylecht who were left to rue a missed opportunity as they slipped to fifth in the table. A particularly tough penalty but the performance would provide encouragement going into Round 5.
