Round 4 began with the two teams at the foot of the table in fifth and sixth positions. They needed to finish 4th or above to advance to the knock-out phase. In a crucial encounter for both teams, Iguana Time delivered a commanding performance to secure a vital 3-0 victory over Just Here 40 Krak. The win was pivotal for Iguana Time's hopes of advancing to the knockout phase, while it left Just Here 40 Krak on the brink of elimination.

Iguana Time's attack proved relentless from the outset. They took control early in the match, with Pedro Valadas opening the scoring. His goal set the tone for what would become a dominant first half performance. Alfredo Laferte doubled the lead shortly after, showing Iguana Time's offensive strength. The third goal came from Nick Chinaskiz, who ensured a comfortable 3-0 lead before the break.

Defensively, Iguana Time was equally impressive. Kyle Coughlan earned a clean sheet, demonstrating a solid performance between the posts and ensuring that Just Here 40 Krak's efforts to get back into the game were thwarted.

With this result, Iguana Time kept their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive, showcasing a strong all-round performance. Conversely, Just Here 40 Krak faced a tough situation, now reliant on other results to determine their fate in the tournament.

On Pitch B we had the two teams occupying the mid-table positions in third and fourth position. Realistically, there was a top 3 and bottom 3 emerging.

12 months ago Alea Iacta Est opened up with a 2-0 loss to eventual champions Colonel Getafe. They got their first point on the board with a 1-1 draw against Krwiodawcow Cracovii before a narrow 1-0 loss to 2012 champions, Skidmarks. Another defeat (2-1) followed to Moles Salah before they finished their group campaign with a 5-0 win over TaHu of Finland. It meant they finished in fifth position in the table and just 1 point off qualification for the knockout phase. Today, Alea Iacta Est were in 4th place and would realistically be targeting the Plate to avoid elimination again.

Barrymoore's Swimming Club were targeting a fourth successive Cup qualification. They would have their work cut out as Sporting Armada and Cruz Del Sur above them were showing no signs of weakness. All they could do was keep winning and put points on the board (they were also due to play Sporting Armada in Round 5).

Barrymoore's Swimming Club secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Alea Iacta Est. The win was significant for Barrymoore's Swimming Club, keeping their title hopes alive and ensuring their place in the knockout stages (although which competition was still to be decided). The only goal of the match came in the first half, with Ryan Reed scoring his fourth goal of the tournament. His strike proved to be the decisive moment, showcasing his ability to find the back of the net when it mattered most.

Defensively, Barrymoore's Swimming Club were solid again, with goalkeeper Tsvetan Nikolov delivering a second consecutive clean sheet (and third overall). For Alea Iacta Est, the defeat meant they would drop to fifth place in the table at just the wrong time.

In a highly anticipated clash between the top two teams in Group B, Cruz Del Sur delivered a commanding performance to secure a 3-0 victory over previously unbeaten Sporting Armada. The result saw Cruz Del Sur leapfrog their opponents to the top of the table, putting them in a strong position to advance to the Cup competition.

The match was expected to be a tight contest, given both teams' impressive records. Sporting Armada entered the game with a perfect record and had yet to concede a goal. Cruz Del Sur, however, proved to be the stronger side on the day, demonstrating both offensive prowess and defensive solidity.

Sam Cassidy, the tournament's top scorer, was the standout player. Cassidy extended his tally to eight goals with a scintillating hat-trick that sealed the win for Cruz Del Sur. His clinical finishing was on full display as he became the first person to score past Paul Oliver today.

Sporting Armada struggled to break down Cruz Del Sur's defence as Ashley Hamilton kept his third successive clean sheet. After 4 games, no opposing player had found a way past him with just that unfortunate goal in Round 1 the only blemish.

With this victory, Cruz Del Sur not only took top spot in the group but also placed themselves firmly in contention for the Cup competition – only a heavy defeat in their final game combined with a Barrymoore's v Armada draw in Round 5 could stop them now. Sporting Armada, on the other hand, would need to regroup as they now had work to do to reach the Cup.
