JNJ Poland and Leeds One United kicked off Round 4 with two of the early pace-setters coming head to head. These two teams were joint second on 6 points although Leeds One United did have a game in hand.

We go all the way back to 2014 when these two teams first met in this event. Leeds One United (playing as S&OP FC) won 3-2 on that occasion. Two years later they met at the Krakow 2016 edition with Leeds One United playing as The Rodallega Bombs on that occasion. The Rodallega Bombs won it 1-0 – JNJ Poland's only defeat in the tournament in normal time.

Would it be a hat-trick of wins for the English team or third time lucky for JNJ Poland? At the end of the first half it was JNJ Poland who held the advantage thanks to Slawomir Ziemak's third goal of the tournament.

In the second half it got even better for JNJ Poland as Artur Wrzesinski scored his first of the tournament. It was a vital win that meant JNJ Poland would have sole possession of second place in the table.

Next up was another crucial game at the top of the table in Group B as we had the teams currently occupying 4th and 5th position coming face to face. With the top 4 teams qualifying for the Cup and us half-way through the group this game could prove pivotal for these teams. A win was arguably more vital for DePuy Blackpool as they had played an extra game compared to their opponents.

Actelion FC had just picked up their first win in Europe and were on the hunt for their second that would put them amongst the leaders with a game in hand. This game proved to be a close one between two evenly matched teams.

The teams could not be split in the opening half as we reached the break level at 0-0. We did have goals to enjoy in the second half but we still couldn't find a winner. Goals from Tang Duc (Actelion FC) and Youssuf Benarous (DePuy Blackpool) cancelled each other out. Final score, 1-1.

JNJ Turkey started Round 4 with a three point lead at the top of Group A. They needed another win to ensure they would stay there. They came up against EDC2 of Ireland. JNJ Turkey had 10 wins out of 12 in group phase games in this event and they would be hot favourites to make that 11 out of 13.

Whilst JNJ Turkey were top of the table, EDC2 were struggling at the other end of the table. They were looking for their first goals and points of the tournament. The odds were against them securing those objectives in this game.

The Irish competed well against their illustrious opponents but ultimately JNJ Turkey had too much for them. A first half goal from Fatih Karabulut and a second half goal from Kartal Mustafa Yalcinkaya ensured the team from Istanbul would continue their 100% record today.

JNJ Turkey remained top, EDC2 remained bottom.
