We
completed a hat-trick of Berlin tournaments in
June 2014 and following victories for Rigford
Seahawks (Eng) and ABC United (Rom) it was the
turn of Hasanheide Hotspur (Ger) to take glory.
Having reached the Quarter-Finals in 2012 and
the Semi-Finals in 2013 they went all the way
this year to claim their maiden title.
It
was a good day for Frank Hirth too as their B
team reached the Semi-Finals and their A team
were Runners-Up in the Cup competition to Hasanheide
Hotspur.
In
the Plate competition, Scandittack FC won the
tournament in their second eurofootballfives.com
tournament defeating Deportivo Dooradoyle who
were unable to add the Berlin Fives Plate to the
Barcelona Fives Plate and Trophy victories they
took in October 2013. The Wooden Spoon honours
were taken by Fred's Fairys in arguably the game
of the day as they defeated FC Auslander.
The
Top Goalscorer prize saw three men finish on 8
goals but David Teixeira of French club Luso Team
take the title as he had played just 5 games compared
to the 7 games of the two men also on 8 goals.
