Hebden Bridge Old Boys went into their third game looking to maintain their 100% start to the competition. Breast Rummage Albion had put opening game defeat behind them to bounce back with second game victory. That form continued in the first half here as they upset the league placings by taking an early 2-0 lead into the break. James Keeling was the man of the moment in Game 2 and he was proving to be the man with the golden boot for Breast Rummage Albion as he claimed both goals in this game. In the second half Hebden Bridge Old Boys were unable to reduce the deficit and as the sands of time ticked away so did their unbeaten run. The result meant Breast Rummage Albion were now level at the top with Hebden Bridge but the Old Boys holidng sway courtesy of a superior goal difference.

It's Back and Anglo Knights both claimed opening victories but were then disappointed in the next match – a defeat for the former and a draw for the latter. The teams could not be split in the opening period and a 0-0 score was reflective of a closely matched group. The deadlock was broken in the second half but come the end of the game the teams were still level at 1 goal each and 1 point each. The result acted to concertina the group and only 2 points separated 1st and 5th – where's your money in Group B? Before we move on to Game 9, we should tell you that George Bowman was on target again for It's Back with Fabregas (Oriol, not Cesc) the Anglo Knights scorer.

Norton Old Boys were looking to get on the board against Sesimbassa. Their Spanish opposition had just taken a good point against Anglo Knights though so it was no easy game. All was looking good at the mid-way point with the teams turning round at 0-0. They often say football is a game of two halves and Sesimbassa gave this cliché substance when they banged in four second half goals. Carles Alonso claimed two of the goals with Marc Jorge and Daniel Plazvelo also finding the net.
