The first game of Round 3 was the Spanish derby between Rapid Bosco Navas and Equipo A. Rapid Bosco Navas had found their feet but Equipo A were pointless despite only narrowly losing in their first two matches. Maybe the two narrow defeats had demoralized them or maybe were Rapid were just too good. Either way, the game was over by half-time. Rapid Bosco Navas were in the goals too – 3 in the first half versus London Rivals and 4 in the first half in this game. Oscar Futer got the ball rolling again and Juan Martinez scored twice with Xavi Llimona adding to his tally. The second half was quieter and the game finished 4-0 and Equipo A were spared further punishment. The win saw Rapid Bosco Navas jumping up to join Magic Monkeys and Warranty Direct on top again.

Next up was London Rivals versus Wafty Crankers. A defeat for the London Rivals would really cut them and Equipo A adrift with all their opponents on 6 points. They couldn't afford to lose and realistically had to win to pull Wafty Crankers back into their plight. The Crankers were looking up the table though rather than behind them anf a goal in each half from Ben Scowcroft and James Rowland sealed a 2-0 victory. James Rowland's goal drought clearly over!! Scoring in 13 of 14 games….what Heskey would do for that record!

Game 9 of the group was the mouth-watering prospect of Magic Monkeys FC versus Warranty Direct in a top of the table clash. Whilst the game was close and keenly contested the Magic Monkeys always seemed to have the slight edge and once they forged ahead through Tim Scholes it forced Warranty Direct to come at them. This made Magic Monkeys FC more dangerous as their defensive unit soaked up the pressure and they looked to increase their lead with more room going forward. They did so via Jake Algar and ran out 2-0 winners. A hugely impressive record for the Magic Monkeys – 3 wins out of 3, 9 points, 6 goals and 3 clean sheets.

The result meant Warranty Direct slipped to 3rd on goal difference but with their destiny very much in their own hands still.
