The first game of Round 2 saw two teams looking to avenge a first round 2-0 defeat as London Rivals met Rapid Bosco Navas. The Spanish team started slowly 12 months ago with a first round loss before a second game win against the eventual runners-up. Sadly for London Rivals it looked like history was repeating itself as Rapid Bosco Navas quickly got into their stride and with a blink of an eye found themselves 3-0 up. Oscar Fuster got the ball rolling, Xavi Llimona added a second before Pablo Garin chipped in with a third.

 

London Rivals pulled it back in the second half a little bit as two goals were equally shared as Juan Martinez scored Rapid's 4 th . Paul Martin was the hero for London Rivals as he scored their first of the day. London Rivals can only hope they do what Bloomberg FC did in June 2009 and go onto to make the final. Rapid Bosco Navas became the fourth team to sit on 3 points at the top of Group A.

 
 
 
That would not last long though as Wafty Crankers met Warranty Direct. One or both of these teams would move beyond the 3 point mark. The prize for a win would be a three point lead and Wafty Crankers fell behind for the second game running as David Payne scored his 3 rd of the tournament. Warranty Direct went on to make it 2-0 at half-time and 3-1 by the final whistle. David Payne got a second goal for his second successive double and Lewis Williams joined the goalscoring party. For Wafty Crankers the surprise was that it wasn't James Rowland who found the net and his amazing run came to an end in an unlucky 13 th game for him. Ben Scowcroft was the goalscorer for the Wafty's on this occasion.
 
 
 
It was Spanish opposition for the second match running for Magic Monkeys FC. First up was 2008 Barca Fives champions Rapid Bosco Navas, now they played 2009 Plate champions Equipo A. Their titled opposition did nothing to stand in the Magic Monkeys way and they were leading an early charge for glory. Russell Chopping scored again to give his team a first-half lead and that was to be the only goal of the game. Magic Monkeys FC joined WarrantyDirect at the top of Group A. A real surprise to us was seeing Equipo A with two defeats in two. They had 3 more games to rescue their tournament.
