It's Back and Hebden Bridge Old Boys both enjoyed opening game wins and faced tough opposition to make it two out of two. The teams could be forgiven for looking to consolidate the opening game win by taking a draw in their second game against quality opposition. Whether this was the aim in the first half or the goals just proved elusive the teams turned round at 0-0 with all to play for. When the first goal came it was that man Neil Coneron again. Then, just as he did in the opening match he scored a brace and Hebden Bridge Old Boys were 2-0 up. That's the way it finished and Hebden Bridge were making the early running to collect their second group win. Neil Coneron was also on a personal mission to top the goalscoring tables. A quick glance over to Group A and he was joint top with Warranty Direct's David Payne.

If the two teams above were looking to make it two wins out of two then Breast Rummage Albion and Norton Hill Old Boys were looking to avoid making it two defeats out of two. As with the first game of Round 2 the first half proved tight and fiercely contested. The first goal in the game proved to be the winner in such a tight match with the difference between the two teams being a James Keeling strike. The goal earned Breast Rummage Albion all three points and a mid-table place with a chance to start their challenge again. Norton Hill Old Boys would be disappointed to lose so narrowly and were looking to make it third time lucky next time out.

We finished off Round 2 with the Spain verus Spain fixture of Anglo Knights against Sesimbassa. The 2009 champions had started where they left off in the first game and showed no signs of losing that momentum as Kenneth Perez put them 1-0 up at the break. Sesimbassa lost their first game and you may well have expected them to struggle chasing the game in the second half. Oriol Belles second goal in as many games drew them level at 1-1 and they earned a crucially valuable point. They might still be 5th but the confidence this result would give may well act as the catalyst for their campaign. Anglo Knights were tucked in nicely in 2nd .
