Round 4 of Group B kicked off with Argon'ze B taking on VK Dons. Argon'ze B were positioned in 6th place but had the potential to climb to joint third with a win, while VK Dons, sitting in fourth, aimed to move up to joint second place with a victory. The stakes were high, could either seize their opportunity?

VK Dons opened the scoring with Scott Harrington finding the back of the net, continuing his fine form in the tournament. Argon'ze B's Arnaud Wack, who was having an impressive personal campaign himself with four goals already, responded by levelling the match at 1-1, bringing his tally to five. The first half concluded with the teams locked at 1-1, setting the stage for a tightly contested second half. Both sides created chances, but it was Scott Harrington who made the decisive impact once again, scoring his second goal of the match and sixth of the tournament. It was his most crucial strike of the day ensuring VK Dons secured all three points with a 2-1 victory.

The win propelled VK Dons up the table, moving them to joint second place and bolstering their chances of progressing to the knockout phase. Argon'ze B, despite a valiant effort and another goal from Wack, were unable to secure the win and will need to regroup for their final match but they were now relying on other teams' results to make the next stage.

The next game of Round 4 was Hosting Threesams versus Mironeers. Hosting Threesams were currently in fifth place needing to finish 4th or above to reach the knockout stage. Their opponents in this game were currently occupying 4th place in the table and were just a point ahead. A win for the English team would put them in pole position to qualify for the Plate, a defeat would virtually end their hopes whilst a draw would leave things hanging in the balance.

Hosting Threesams struck first, with Oliver Cobb scoring to give the English side a 1-0 lead. Despite both teams creating chances, the first half concluded with Hosting Threesams holding onto their narrow advantage. In the second half, Mironeers fought back and found an equalizer through Nazim Djimani, making it 1-1. Djimani's goal proved to be vital, not only in leveling the match but also in maintaining Mironeers' position ahead of Hosting Threesams in the league standings.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, a result that, while not ideal for either side, kept Mironeers ahead of Hosting Threesams in the race for Plate qualification. Both teams will look to build on this performance in the final round of games which would decide their destiny in the 2024 Amsterdam Fives. With the competition heating up, every goal and every point would be essential as the teams jockeyed for position in the table.

To conclude Round 4 we had Hobbema's versus Argon'ze B. For both of these teams it was their last fixture and their last chance to stake their claim for Cup and Plate qualification respectively. Hobbema's were currently 3 points ahead at the top of the table but VK Dons and AFC Blue Boys could still catch them so they needed a win secure their place in the Cup.

From an Argon'ze B perspective, they had to win and hope Hosting Threesams lost their final game and the French team would advance on goal difference. If Hobbema's were to win they would move to 12 points ahead of VK Dones and AFC Blue Boys who would each have 2 games in hand but they still needed to play each other so Hobbema's would be through.

Hobbema's started the game brightly, taking an early lead through Tjarno Baart's goal to make it 1-0. The Dutch side continued their dominance, with Rik Antone extending their lead to 2-0, and Baart scoring his second of the match to make it 3-0 by halftime.

In the second half, Argon'ze B showed resilience and pulled a goal back through Mathieu Schincariol, narrowing the deficit to 3-1. However, Hobbema's quickly responded, with Jasper van Bremen finding the net to restore their three-goal advantage at 4-1. The match concluded with Tjarno Baart completing his hat-trick and securing a comprehensive 5-1 victory for Hobbema's. Baart's hat-trick ensured Hobbema's qualification for Cup football in the afternoon session, a commendable achievement for the Dutch team.

Argon'ze B, despite the defeat and their elimination from the tournament, displayed determination throughout their campaign. They will now shift their focus to supporting their A team, who continue their journey in the 2024 Amsterdam Fives.
