Double Ya Dosage and Athletico Do Hollande both had 100% records going into Round 4. It was 100% draws for Double Ya Dosage and 100% wins for Athletico Do Hollande. So far Double Ya Dosage may well have been disappointed with 3 draws but I'm sure, if offered, they would take a draw from this game.

Athletico Do Hollande could seal their place in the Cup and also the Group B title with victory in this game and a first half strike from Edson Lopes Tavares set them on their way. Double Ya Dosage had come from behind in their last two games to take a point but that was looking a tough proposition here when Lopes Tavares made it 2-0. At 3-0 (Guillermo Richards) it was almost impossible and at 4-0 (Gilliano Tollaway) it was game over.

Athletico Do Hollande had their Cup qualification and the Group B title – well done to them. Double Ya Dosage had one game left and still much to play for as Plate qualification was well within their grasp.

Next in action was Missing Magpies against Fat Ginger Kids. Missing Magpies were so far unbeaten and their progress going a little unnoticed as they started off with two draws but a win here and they would move on to 8 points. Cup qualification was very much within their reach. Their nearest challengers were Fat Ginger Kids who could leapfrog their opponents into 2nd place with a win. A draw would keep it interesting going into the final round of games but defeat for Fat Ginger Kids would end their Cup hopes.

The game was a closely fought one and the teams shared the goals in the opening half as Pete Bell opened his account for the day which cancelled out a strike from the man they call “Loin King” for the Fat Ginger Kids. In the second half there was still not much in it but the goals kept coming. In the end it was Missing Magpies who claimed the victory with the odd goal in 3 as Tom Bird and Henry Pescod scored the goals that earned Missing Magpies all 3 points and outgunned the George Webster strike for the Fat Ginger Kids.

The final game of Round 4 was Rovers United versus RFM. Cup qualification was now beyond Rovers United but with 6 points to play for the Plate was still possible. RFM could still make the Cup with two wins combined with a defeat in the last game for Missing Magpies (plus a swing in goal difference). A draw would see them also looking at the Plate and a defeat would see them sink to the bottom but still possible to make the Plate…although it would be out of their hands.

The early running was made by RFM who had scored two goals in three games thus far. They doubled that tally in the first-half to lead 2-0. Rovers United really had to chase the game now and as they did they shipped further goals at the back. Gary Walsh took full advantage scoring 4 in the game with Mick Walsh opening his personal account. The final score of 5-0 saw RFM jump from 5th to 3rd place. Rovers United remained in 6th.
