Tejo (Por) came from 2-0 down in the Cup Final
against World Pinteur (Fra) to secure a 2-2 draw
meaning a penalty shoot-out would decide who would
be 2016 Lisbon Tournament champions. It was the
Portuguese team who won 2-0 in the shoot-out.
In the Plate competition it was Southgate County
who lifted the trophy and collected the medals
as they saw off Your Mum with two second half
goals.
In
the Veterans tournament, it was Sago who made
it 3 wins in 4 years for Portuguese teams in our
Veterans Tournament. They defeated their compatriots
Tanagra 2-1 in the Cup Final. In the Plate Final
it was Crabtree Amblers versus Pioes battling
it out for the honours. It was Pioes who ultimately
succeeded winning it 2-0.
