Trinacria were back in action after sitting things out in Round 2. They were up against GSF Drunkerz at the start of Round 3. GSF Drunkerz currently occupied second place in the Group B table compared to Trinacria in fourth position. GSF Drunkerz were unbeaten in their two games. Trinacria having played just once were looking to respond to a narrow 2-1 defeat.

GSF Drunkerz were the team to take the lead as the match went with the form book in the early stages. Tomas Carny scored his second of the tournament to put the Slovakians ahead. GSF Drunkerz hit the goal frame twice in the last game as they drew from a winning position. When Miroslava Saga, the goalkeeper advancing to play sweeper, hit the bar with a long distance stike they must have been cursing their luck.

Could they hold on to victory? In the second half they hit the woodwork again – four times in 2 games and their lead remained at 1-0. Then, Nuno de Jesus went on a great run for Trinacria, rounded the goalkeeper only to see his shot cleared off the line. It looked like GSF Drunkerz would claim all 3 points.

Trinacria were not done yet though. They had a free kick in the dying moments just outside the box. The goalkeeper wandered up unnoticed and when the man over the free kick layed it off sideways Francesco Urso hit the ball low and hard from 20 yards and drilled it into the back of the net for 1-1. As soon as the game kicked off again the final whistle went. What a finish to go the game!

Two Balls One Touch could take advantage of an early lunch as their game against Tea Time Pub was scheduled for Round 3. As noted before, each team due to play Tea Time Pub would receive a 3-0 walkover win. Two Balls One Touch would pick up their 3 points here in Round 3.

Last but not least in Round 3 we had Deddington Sea Otters and FC Fylde B competing on Pitch C. Both of these teams were unbeaten so far today with Deddington Sea Otters claiming 4 points from a possible 6 whilst FC Fylde B possessed the maximum 6 points on offer.

Ross McCormick was a two goal hero for FC Fylde B in the last game and he was on the mark again here to give Fylde a 1-0 first half lead. As things stood, they were heading to 9 points and a convincing lead at the top of Group B. They reached half-time with their 1-0 lead intact.

FC Fylde B had yet to concede in the tournament and if they could claim another clean sheet then a third win was theirs. Could Deddington Sea Otters find a way through their opponent's defence?

They certainly tried but ultimately they were unable to score their fourth goal of the day and as a result they slipped to their first defeat of the day. The 1-0 win put FC Fylde B in control of Group B. Deddington Sea Otters dropped a place to fourth.
