JNJ Wuppertal were second best in their first game against a strong JNJ High Wycombe A team but they were much improved in this fixture and GBS Reds did not know what had hit them. JNJ Pencoed started well in their first game and they started well again here but they were unable to prevent JNJ High Wycombe A taking a 1-0 lead. A Matt Tominey goal gave the English team an advantage that they were to carry into the break.

For JNJ Pencoed it was a second defeat but they had shown they were no walkovers. They were competing well and just needed to add some goals and stamina to their performances thus far.
