Bunners were up next against Brewin Dolphin.
With SDZ3's defeat there was a chink of light
at the end of the tunnel for the three teams
on 3 points. If they could take 6 points from
the last on offer and SDZ3 lost their final
game then there was a chance they could leapfrog
the Dutch and take second position in the group
to qualify for the Cup. It would take a big
ask though due to goal difference.

Bunners took full advantage in this match against
a struggling Brewin Dolphin. The latter had
several injuries in the build-up to the tournament
so were playing a number of their non-playing
tour members instead of the guys who signed
up as players. That may well have showed in
the 9-0 and 8-0 defeats they had already suffered.

Bunners had a chance to cement a good position
in the table and could qualify for the Plate
(at least) with victory here. They won in style
and had two hat-tricks to boast in the process.
Adam Hale and Antonio Villa both made claims
on the match-ball (although the venue wouldn't
let you keep it). There was a second goal of
the day too for Dimitri Purcell. Job done.
