That
battle was to get even hotter as on Pitch B
The Gunners were scheduled to meet Blurry Eyed
Winks. They picked up their 3-0 walkover which
meant they were the fourth team on 6 points
in Group B. This Group was as close as Jan Molby's
inner thighs!
On
Pitch C, Rigford Seahawks Omega had the chance
to pull away from this congested mid-table with
a win against Athletico Do Hollande that would
see them join their opponents on 9 points at
the top of the table. They put up a valiant
performance too and kept things very tight but
an early goal from Jerrel Fraenk always gave
Athletico an advantage and something to hold
on to.
Athletico
Do Hollande had the added incentive knowing
a win would guarantee them Cup qualification
and the Group B title with a game to spare.
Redouan El Hamidi kept the Seahawks forwards
at bay ensuring that victory was theirs. The
win put them on 12 points and they were through.
Rigford
Seahawks remained in the cluster of teams on
6 points. It was all down to the final round
of games to make sense of Group B.
