Lozenetz City really didn't need any help but they got it due to the gift of three points as they claimed their 3 walkover points against Bosco. It meant they ended Group B as champions on 15 points, a 100% win record, scoring 16 and conceding none. This was one better than Manchester last week meaning in two tournaments they had scored an unbelievable 31 group goals without reply and goalkeeper Evgeni Genadiev had 10 consecutive group clean sheets. A fantastic record.

Back to the action and we saw Crouch End Rangers play Kings Old Boys. Kings Old Boys only needed a point to secure Cup qualification and 2nd spot. Crouch End Rangers had the outside chance of making the Cup if they won by 4 goals in this game and hoped Wilhelmus B would fail to beat RFM. More realistically for Crouch End Rangers though was the fact a draw would guarantee them a place in the Plate and ensure their day of competition would continue. The hopes of Crouch End Rangers disappeared fairly quickly as they found themselves 2-0 down thanks to a double strike from Alan Jones which included an absolutely fantastic strike from distance which arrowed into the top corner. Crouch End Rangers were not to be beaten though as JJ Williams and Roland Mammen brought their side back to 2-2.

In the end the game finished 2-2 which, whilst both teams wanted to win, would have been a result that neither team would be disappointed with as it achieved the qualifications they each sought.

The above result meant that RFM only had pride to play for as they were destined to finish 5th regardless of their performance here. Wilhelmus B were still very much looking for a win as a 3rd place finish should, in theory, mean an easier Plate Semi-Final than a 4th place finish. In fact, with superior goal difference to Crouch End Rangers they could get away with a draw to achieve 3rd place. For long periods it looked like this would finish 0-0 but an overjoyed Uros Mijuskovic claimed his second goal of the day and rapturous celebrations followed as Wilhelmus picked up win number 3, 1-0, to finish in 3rd and they would have a date with England's Dark Horses in the Plate Semi-Finals.
