Into Round 4 of Group B and we had a top of the table clash to look forward to as leaders Lozenetz City faced their closest rivals in Crouch End Rangers. Often these matches can prove feisty, close and even contests that are won or lost by small margins. This was not to be in this case as Lozenetz City sent out a message to their Group B challengers that they were top dog. In Manchester last week, Lozenetz City started slowly eeking out narrow victories and increasing the margin of their wins as the games progressed. History was repeating itself here as they hit Crouch End Rangers for six. The goals were showed around as Atanas Minev, Bojidar Gorchev(2), Ivan Stoyanov, Alexander Kyulev and Tsoni Petrov all found the back of the net. The result ensured their Cup qualification and left Crouch End Rangers needing to pick themselves up for their final group game. The defeat meant they slipped from 2nd to 4th in the Group B standings.

Bosco then conceded their three walkover points to Wilhelmus B with the latter moving level on 6 points with Crouch End Rangers and Kings Old Boys.

Kings Old Boys had the opportunity to jump out of the chasing pack in their next match with victory against RFM. RFM though were looking for a win themselves which would mean they shared a 4-way mid-table position on 6 points and make things really interesting going into the last round of games. We were treated to a 7 goal bonanza in this tie and when the goals fly in like this you're never sure how the game is going to end. When the referee's final whistle drew proceedings to a close it was Kings Old Boys who ended up on the right side of the scoreline claiming a crucial 4-3 win.

Kings Old Boys hero was Paul Veasey who scored Group B's first hat-trick and in fact the first hat-trick of the day. Add in a Martyn Kent strike and you had the ammunition to outgun a Gary Walsh double and Lee Clark goal for RFM. RFM would need to pull a result out the bag in their 5th game but Kings Old Boys fate was now in their own hands as they sat in a very healthy position to join the Bulgarians in reaching the final four.
