We began Round 4 with Futeboladas FC versus Far Out FC. Far Out FC were currently unbeaten and occupying 2 nd position in the table – another win here and they could return to the top of Group A. Futeboladas FC were in 3rd position and could go level with Far Out FC if they could win the game themselves.

It was Futeboladas FC who struck first through Jose Miguel to put the Portuguese in front. Far Out FC had fallen behind in their last fixture and managed to hit back before half-time on that occasion. They were unable to respond quickly in this tie and we would arrive at half-time with the Portuguese still 1-0 up.

Far Out FC could have been 2-0 down early in the second period as Futeboladas hit the post. Far Out FC strived for the equaliser to avoid defeat but the Futeboladas defence held firm. A draw was the minimum requirement for the English team to keep their opponents at arm's length in the Group A table. As the game went on we were still stuck at 1-0 and at the very death Futeboladas had an effort which struck the post then bar before cannoning away. The full-time whistle blew and Futeboladas FC had recorded a sensational win that put them joint 2nd. Group A was getting very tight.

The above result meant that Water Boy would go into their game against Stand Cristina knowing that a win would help them open up a 5 point lead at the top. It would secure their Cup qualification and win them the Group A title. Stand Cristina were so far unbeaten but without a win – 3 draws meant they were struggling in the middle of Group A but a win here could mitigate that somewhat.

We reached half-time level at 0-0 and it looked odds on that Stand Cristina would make it 4 draws in 4 games. In the context of the group Stand Cristina could ill afford to drop more points. A draw for Water Boy would not be the worst result in the world as they would still lead the table by 3 points with just one game to go.

They would not get the draw though as Stand Cristina stepped it up in the second half and did just enough to win by the odd goal, 1-0. It was Dani for Stand Cristina with the goal that opened up his personal account for the day and meant that Water Boy's lead at the top would remain at two points and only 3 points separated the top 4 positions.

The only thing left to settle in Round 4 was the matter of AC Richmond versus Sol Y Sombra. We added AC Richmond's 3-0 walkover win to the league table which gave it the following look.
