The 2026 Lloret de Mar Super Veterans tournament welcomed teams from England, Ireland, Poland, Hungary, Spain and Ukraine for another exciting international competition. All eyes were on Polonia Limerick as they set out to claim a third successive Super Veterans title, but despite reaching the Cup Final once again, their hopes of completing the hat-trick were dashed by AFV Valles Maresme.

The Spanish side produced a decisive performance in the final, defeating Polonia Limerick 3-1 to lift the Cup. The result also brought an end to Polonia Limerick's remarkable 17-match unbeaten run, making it a particularly significant victory for AFV Valles Maresme.

There was individual recognition for FC Miracle's Laszlo Zsolt, who finished as the tournament's leading scorer with an impressive seven goals.

In the Plate competition, there was a happier outcome for TEAM Polonia Limerick. Having finished as runners-up last year, they went one better in 2026, securing the Plate title with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Bushells Old Boys in the final.

Thank you to all teams who participated on what was a great day of competition.
