With FC Miracle knowing that a victory would guarantee their place in the Cup, while TEAM Polonia Limerick needed three points to move to the top of the group, this was a crucial Group B encounter. FC Miracle had been in outstanding form, winning their opening two games without conceding a goal, and they continued that impressive run by taking the lead. Janos Gal found the net to make it 1–0, maintaining his remarkable record of scoring in every game so far.

FC Miracle then doubled their advantage when Laszlo Zsolt struck for his fifth goal of the tournament. Zsolt's latest effort moved him to the top of the tournament scoring charts, while the Hungarian side appeared to be in a commanding position at 2–0. With goalkeeper Laszlo Elekes yet to concede a goal throughout the tournament, FC Miracle looked to have laid the foundations for another clean sheet and a third successive victory. TEAM Polonia Limerick, however, refused to let the game slip away. Yuri Cora finally broke FC Miracle's defensive resistance, becoming the first player to score past Elekes in the tournament. The goal made it 2–1 and gave the Polish side renewed hope of completing a comeback, while also bringing an end to what had been a remarkable run of clean sheets for the Hungarian goalkeeper.

FC Miracle held firm through the closing stages to protect their narrow advantage and secure a 2–1 victory. The result maintained their perfect record and guaranteed their place in the Cup, while TEAM Polonia Limerick were left to rue the slow start that had left them chasing the game. Despite conceding for the first time, FC Miracle remain firmly in control of Group B and continue to look like serious contenders for the Cup title.

At the other end of the table we had Intermore FC v Los Amblos. Both teams were looking for their first points of the day but both had experienced tough opening fixtures with Intermore FC playing the top two and Los Amblos playing 1 st and 3 rd . In a high standard group I am sure both teams, with the utmost respect to their opposition, would see this match as key to their qualification hopes.

Los Amblos made the brighter start and took control of the game when James Myers opened the scoring to put the English side 1-0 ahead. Pete Malata then took centre stage, adding a second before completing his brace to extend the advantage to 3-0. With Los Amblos looking firmly in command, Intermore FC needed a response and Dominic Maguire provided it, reducing the deficit to 3-1. The Irish side then built on that opening as Paddy McClean made it 3-2, setting up an increasingly tense finish. Los Amblos responded through Steven Kidd, who restored their two-goal advantage at 4-2 and appeared to have given his side some valuable breathing room. Intermore refused to give up, however, and Maguire struck again to complete his brace and bring the score back to 4-3.

Despite the late pressure from Intermore FC, Los Amblos held on to claim a 4-3 victory in an entertaining contest. The result puts Los Amblos in the box seat for the Plate qualification places, leaving them with a strong position heading into the final round of group matches. For Intermore FC, meanwhile, the defeat leaves them on the edge of elimination, with their final game now carrying major significance if they are to keep their tournament alive.

Game 8 in Group B brought FC Miracle to the end of their group campaign, with the Hungarians already assured of a place in the Cup but still having plenty to play for. A fourth successive victory would guarantee them top spot, while Catalunya Legends knew a win could bring them to within two points of FC Miracle with a game still in hand. The other possibility was a draw, which would be enough to move Catalunya Legends into second place, while simultaneously confirming FC Miracle as group winners.

It was Catalunya Legends who made the breakthrough, with Marc Valls putting the Spanish side 1-0 ahead. It was the first time FC Miracle had found themselves behind in the tournament, adding a new dimension to a game and a new test for the Hungarians. Valls' strike was also his third of the day, continuing his excellent individual form and giving Catalunya Legends a valuable advantage. FC Miracle responded through Zoltan Toth, who brought the scores level at 1-1. Like Valls, it was Toth's third goal of the day, with both players making their mark on a contest that ultimately remained finely balanced. Neither side could find the decisive second goal, leaving the points shared at the final whistle.

The draw confirmed FC Miracle as Group B winners, rounding off an unbeaten campaign with three victories and this final stalemate. Catalunya Legends, meanwhile, moved into second place on the strength of the point, although their group campaign is not yet complete and they still have a game in hand. The remaining fixtures will therefore determine whether they can hold onto that Cup qualification position with Los Amblos & TEAM Polonia Limerick both in with a shout to deny them. FC Miracle could now turn their attention to the knockout stages as group winners.

TEAM Polonia Limerick and Los Amblos currently occupied the two Plate qualification places in third and fourth place on 4 points and 3 points respectively. Catalunya Legends were on 5 points so the winner of this fixture could jump into second position, temporarily at least. Should the game end in a draw then TEAM Polonia Limerick would need to hope for a Catalunya Legends loss to have a chance of reaching the Cup.

TEAM Polonia Limerick produced an important 2-0 victory over Los Amblos, with Colin Scanlan proving to be the difference between the two sides. Scanlan found the net twice during the contest, giving the Polish side a valuable cushion and putting them in a strong position as they looked to climb the Group B standings. The goals took Scanlan's tally to 5 for the tournament. Los Amblos were unable to find a response, with Polonia's defence holding firm throughout to secure a crucial clean sheet. Marek Zbroja was at the heart of that defensive effort, recording his second clean sheet of the tournament as TEAM Polonia Limerick saw out the victory. The win lifts TEAM Polonia Limerick into second place and puts them firmly back in contention for a Cup qualification place, although their position will depend on the remaining Group B results. The three points could prove hugely significant for the Polish side in the battle for the knockout places but they would need Catalunya Legends to drop points.

For Los Amblos, the defeat extinguished any lingering Cup hopes but leaves their Plate qualification hopes intact, but their margin for error has been reduced and they will now be looking at the results around them as the group reaches its decisive stages. They needed Intermore FC to fail to win and even if they did, goal difference was on the side of Los Amblos.

Final game, Intermore FC v Catalunya Legends. Intermore FC's hopes of Plate qualification were hanging by their fingertips. They needed to win and overturn a 7-goal deficit in goal difference. They would have a tough task against Catalunya Legends who were unbeaten with 1 win and 2 draws to date. Catalunya Legends currently occupied third position in the table which put them in the Plate qualification places. To climb into second and into the Cup places they needed to take all three points.

Catalunya Legends made their intentions clear with the opening goal, as Josep Lluis put the Spanish side 1-0 ahead. The strike was Lluis' first of the day and gave Catalunya Legends the perfect start as they looked to secure the three points needed to keep their hopes of reaching the Cup alive. Intermore FC needed a strong response, but Catalunya continued to control the scoring and eventually doubled their advantage through Luisinho, who registered his second goal of the day.

With Catalunya Legends now firmly in command, the final goal arrived through Marc Valls to make it 3-0. It was Valls' fourth goal of the day, adding another landmark to an impressive individual performance from the Spanish side. Intermore FC were unable to find a way back into the contest, and Catalunya Legends saw the game through to claim a convincing 3-0 victory and finish their group campaign unbeaten.

The result saw Catalunya Legends move into second place and secure a place in the Cup, while TEAM Polonia Limerick drop into third and the Plate qualification places. Los Amblos remained in 4 th place and also qualified for the Plate. Intermore FC's campaign had come to an end after they were unable to produce the victory and goal difference swing they needed. A big thank you to Intermore FC for competing in Lloret de Mar and for their efforts throughout the tournament. It was great to see them again after such a long hiatus from our events.
