So
who would meet Big Time Krakow in the Plate
Final? The two teams set to do battle were Mngball
FC and Krwiodawcow Cracovii. If the first semi-final
was a low-scoring close contest, this second
semi-final could not have been a bigger contrast.
We had goals galore and most of them to the
English team.
The
first half of the match was completely dominated
by Mngball FC, who asserted their dominance
with a commanding 5-0 lead at halftime. James
Evans was the catalyst, opening the scoring
and setting the tone for Mngball FC. Aaron White
joined the scoring spree, netting twice, while
James Evans added another to his tally (7 now
for the tournament). Ayden Ashraf also contributed
with a goal.
As
the second half commenced, Aaron White continued
his impressive performance, completing his hat-trick.
Ayden Ashraf added his second goal of the game.
Krwiodawcow Cracovii managed to score a consolation
goal through Szymon Peron. Krwiodawcow had done
miraculously to reach the Plate with their depleted
squad but it was a game too far and, in truth,
they were crushed by Mngball FC.
The
match concluded with a resounding 7-1 victory
for Mngball FC. The result equalled the highest
scoring Plate Semi-Final in Krakow Trophy history
(in 2017 Fylde FC A defeated Deddington Sea
Otters by the same score). Mngball FC's impressive
performance set the stage for an exciting Plate
Final clash with Big Time Krakow.
