We began Round 2 with Cream of the South versus Turn Down For Watford.

Cream of the South were making a second appearance in our events after playing at the 2022 Amsterdam Sixes. They began in fine style with a 2-1 win over Real Sosobad (Hol). A narrow 1-0 loss followed to Murder on Zidane's Floor (Hol) before a 3-1 defeat to Portugal's RAF. A 3-1 loss to Freshers FC and 2-0 loss to Ball Bashers followed – these would be the eventual Plate and Cup champions respectively. It was a tough group and they'd hope for a kinder draw in Krakow.

The match got off to an electric start as Turn Down For Watford took the lead with a goal from Rich Lyons. However, Cream of the South quickly responded with an equalizer from Matt Vokes, making it 1-1 at halftime. As the second half commenced, the game remained finely balanced. Rich Lyons, who had already found the back of the net, once again showcased his goal-scoring prowess by regaining the lead for Turn Down For Watford. Turn Down For Watford continued to press forward, and Ben Gregory emerged as a key player, scoring twice to extend their lead to 4-1. Rich Lyons completed his sensational hat-trick with a well-converted penalty, sealing the match with a scoreline of 5-1.
