Round 2 kicked off with LSVG1 from the Netherlands facing off against Ball Sports Pinks, who were looking to bounce back from their earlier defeat.

The match began with both LSVG1 and Ball Sports Pinks determined to make their mark after their respective losses in the previous round. LSVG1 quickly asserted their dominance, showcasing their attacking prowess and creating several early chances. Their efforts paid off as Jonathan Den Houting found the back of the net, giving LSVG1 a 1-0 lead.

Buoyed by their opening goal, LSVG1 continued to press forward, displaying excellent teamwork and creating further scoring opportunities. Kevin Musters capitalized on one such chance, extending LSVG1's lead to 2-0.

However, Ball Sports Pinks refused to back down and mounted a spirited comeback. They managed to reduce the deficit just before halftime when Ashley Small scored his second goal of the tournament, making it 2-1. The goal injected renewed hope and determination into the Ball Sports Pinks' camp.

In the second half, both teams came out knowing that the next goal could prove crucial. LSVG1 maintained their attacking impetus, seeking to increase their lead and secure the victory. Their efforts were rewarded when Pieter Laan found the back of the net, extending LSVG1's advantage to 3-1.

As the final whistle blew, LSVG1 celebrated a hard-fought victory, claiming three important points in the tournament. Despite their best efforts, Ball Sports Pinks fell short once again, but they showed great resilience and determination throughout the match.

Game #5 of Group B was Elstead Reds versus Les Collegues. Both teams had started with a win with Elstead Reds now on a 5-match unbeaten run in Amsterdam which included their Plate victory here 12 months ago.

In an action-packed encounter, the game started with both teams eager to make their mark. Les Collegues, led by their in-form striker Thomas Margeon, continued their attacking momentum from the previous game. It didn't take long for Margeon to find the back of the net for the second game running, giving Les Collegues an early 1-0 lead. Les Collegues extended their lead with a goal from Adrien Choux, making it 2-0. They were unable to maintain the lead until the break as Elstead Reds were determined to mount a comeback and they got a lifeline when James Davis found the back of the net, reducing the deficit to 2-1. Half-time.

In the second period, Les Collegues maintained their composure and continued to pose a threat in the attacking third. Steve Bouyer added to their lead with a well-taken goal, making it 3-1. Elstead Reds, refusing to surrender, fought back valiantly. Laurence Willis managed to find the net, bringing the score to 3-2, and injecting excitement into the closing stages of the match.

The match concluded with both teams giving their all in pursuit of goals. Les Collegues showcased their defensive prowess, thwarting Elstead Reds' attempts to equalize, and held on to their narrow lead until the final whistle. Les Collegues secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory, earning their second win of the tournament. Elstead Reds put up a strong fight but their unbeaten stretch in this tournament had now ended.

The game that would complete Round 2 was W London (Eng) against Shab-Tilburg (Ned). Shab Tilburg opened up with a good win in Round 1 and, if they could build on that with a win, could join Les Collegues at the top of the table.

W London debuted at the 2022 Barcelona Fives and impressed in the group phase finishing second of six teams on 11 points. They defeated Toe Punters 2-0 and Argon'ze B 4-0 to get off to the perfect start. Their winning run was ended by CE Llefia 0-0 but a draw against the 2015 and 2021 champions was nothing to be ashamed of. They lost 1-0 to group winners AFC Blue Boys (Pol) before ending the group stage on a high with a closely fought 2-1 win over TBC FC. Their tilt at glory was ended at the Cup Quarter-Final stage with a narrow 2-1 loss to the eventual champions, Norfolk N Chance.

W London slipped to a narrow 3-2 loss in Round 1 but were out of the blocks fast in Round 2. They opened the scoring with a goal from Malek Mansour. The game then swung in favour of the Dutch team with Jaafae Aaouallah, Walid Maruan and Dahil Maruan all finding the back of the net. Shab-Tilburg held a 3-1 advantage at the change of ends.

Malek Mansour started the second half as he did the first, with a goal. It was 3-2 but Shab-Tilburg extended that lead to 4-2 with Walid Maruan on target for the second time in the game. That could have broken many teams but W London were made of strong stuff. Darius Plummer scored for the second game in a row to make it 4-3 and then sensationally bagged a second to equalize for 4-4. This time their comeback would earn them a share of the points. Final score, 4-4.
