The A Team came into Round 2 having missed out on the action in Round 1 so would be champing at the bit to get their campaign underway.

The A Team visit Prague from Paris. They make their fifth eurofootballfives.com appearance after a debut in the 2013 Krakow Trophy. They were on course for victory leading the Cup Final 1-0 before Budapest Celtic came back to win 2-1. They followed this up at the 2014 Budapest Fives – an injury ravaged squad finished 3rd in the group before a Plate Semi-Final exit to 2-times Cup champions and eventual Plate winners – FC Radbroke. A second European trip of 2014 saw them fly to the Mallorca Tournament. They finished 3 rd in their group again – a group which featured the 2011 winners, Palma Select, and also the Plate Runners-Up of the 2013 Lisbon Tournament, FC Dynamoes. They qualified for the Plate winning their Quarter-Final 3-2 on penalties over Spain's Con Bun but then lost out to another Spanish team, Brioche, in the Semi-Finals.

Their last appearance was at the 2015 Bratislava Fives where they went all the way to the Cup Final for the second time. Like the first time though they narrowly missed out on the ultimate prize. This time they lost 1-0 to Slovakian side GSF Drunkerz.

They started well here in Prague with Dydynho scoring twice in the first half to give the French a 2-0 lead at the break. Fiorentina Turner drew 2-2 in their first game but another “Desmond” was not on the cards when Dydynho made it 3-0 to The A Team and wrapped up a fine win.

Wafty Crankers were back on the field next against CIS Committee. Wafty Crankers had picked up a point from their opening fixture against Fiorentina Turner but the Belarus team promised to be a tougher proposition.

Both teams played here in Prague at the 2011 Prague Masters although they did not meet face to face. CIS Committee won their group but went out in the Cup Quarter-Finals via Golden Goal. Wafty Crankers finished 5th in their 6th team group to make the Plate and went on to win it.

CIS Committee opened up in 2016 with a 3-0 win and they were on the winning trail again in their second fixture as Siarhei Paliakou set them on their way before Ihar Fedarynchyk made it 2-0 at half-time.

Ihar Fedarynchyk had made a storming start to the tournament and he bagged his fifth goal in two games to make it 3-0 and seal the points for the team from Belarus.

The game that would complete Round 2 was again set to be Professional Czech Team (Cze) against 50 Shades of O'Shea (Eng). There was still no sign of Professional Czech Team and they were now officially a “no show”. 50 Shades of O'Shea and all their other scheduled opponents in the group phase would receive a 3-0 walkover.
