So,
as they were in the group phase, the teams were
level at 1-1. Two quick-fire goals early in
the second half put Algaiga Golf in control.
Alfredo scored them both and it was a real psychological
blow for Multiple Scorgasms.
The
game was over when Jon scored his 9 th of the
day (he would be the second top scorer in the
tournament) and made it 4-1 to Algaiga Golf.
It
was a historic win for Algaiga Golf who had
won their second Mallorca Fives Plate. They
had added the 2018 crown to the Plate they won
here back in 2013. They also became the 10 th
team in eurofootballfives.com history to become
multiple Plate winners.
Please
spare a thought for our runners-up today, Multiple
Scorgasms, who just ran out of steam at the
end. They had put in a good performance on the
day but those two early goals in the second
half of the final proved too much. They collected
runners-up medals in the presentation.
