Tito FC came into Round 2 on the back of a Round 1 victory. Algaiga Golf came into the game on the back of a defeat. Tito FC were looking to maintain their 100% winning record. Algaiga Golf were looking to avoid making it a 100% losing record.

So, earlier in the report, we've seen that Algaiga Golf (formerly Son Gual) reached the Cup Final last year. Their history in this event goes back to the 2012 Mallorca Tournament. They were drawn in a group with 2 previous eurofootballfives.com winners (2 x winners Inter Women and 4 x winners Olympic Phil Babb). They finished 4th in their 6 team group to qualify for the Plate Quarter-Finals where they exited 4-2 at the hands of Whiteley Stags. In the Mallorca Fives of May 2013 they also finished 4th in a group that contained 2 previous eurofootballfives.com winners (Skidmarks and Policia Mallorca) and went on to the Plate competition – which they won! They followed this up at the Mallorca Tournament of June 2013 by finishing 3 rd in their 6-team group. They qualified for the Plate again and won their Quarter-Final 4-2 against Whiteley Bad Boys before a 2-1 Semi-Final defeat to Have Ago Heroes. 2014 saw another 4th-placed finish in the group before a 3-1 Plate Quarter-Final defeat to Brioche. 2015 was their most successful tournament to date as they won Group A with 13 points from a possible 15. They then exited at the Quarter-Final stage, 2-1, at the hands of Policia Local.

Then came last year's Cup Final. They would have a tough task reaching the Cup Final this year as they drew 0-0 against Tito FC. It meant they had just 1 point from the first 6 on offer. Tito FC were in a healthy position with 4 points from 6 and yet to concede a goal.

For Game 5 of Group B we had Multiple Scorgasms versus Renshaw. The two teams had polar opposite fortunes in Round 1. Multiple Scorgasms lead their opening match 1-0 before losing 2-1. Renshaw found themselves 1-0 down but came back to win 2-1.

Multiple Scorgasms made their first adventure on the eurofootballfives.com tour at the 2014 Berlin Fives. They made an encouraging start finishing join top of their group but ended up second on goal difference to France's Luso Team. They qualified for the Cup Quarter-Finals where they came up against another French team and 2013 Mallorca Fives winners, Grant Thornton. Multiple Scorgasms saw them off 4-1 before eventual winners Hasanheide Hotspur ended their run, 1-0, in the Semi-Finals.

Berlin was followed up with an appearance at the 2015 Bratislava Fives. They began with a 2-2 draw but then slipped to a 3-2 defeat against Fireball (Svk), a 2-0 defeat to SV Zoo (Ger) and a 6-3 loss to FC Pressburg (Svk). They finished 4th of 5 teams to go through to the Plate. A 3-0 win over Slovakia's Donuts in the Quarters preceded a 5-3 loss to Team BearII in the Semis.

Multiple Scorgasms were finding it tough this morning. They had competed well in both their games but had found themselves edged out of it in both as they slipped to a second 2-1 defeat. Lewis Hampton scored his second goal in as many games.

Renshaw were the other side of the coin. Two goals from Conor Glass saw them through to victory as they sat joint top of the table.

The game that would complete Round 2 was Inter Balear against John Laing. The squad from Spain with 1 win under their belt would take on the squad from England with 1 defeat to their name.

It was the Spanish team who got off to a flyer in this one. In no time at all they raced into a 3-0 lead. Yagid Hamadma scored twice against Multiple Scorgasms and he was back in the goals here as he put Inter Balear 1-0 up. Kevin Marti doubled the lead before Juan Garcia made it 3-0 before half-time. Juan Garcia was our top scorer here at the 2015 Mallorca Tournament when he bagged 15 goals. He was now off the mark in 2018.

The second half proved to be a much closer affair. In fact it looked like 3-0 at half-time would be 3-0 at full-time. However, Juan Garcia popped up with his second of the game to make it 4-0 with the last kick of the game. Inter Balear were top of Group B on goal difference.
