LMH FC and CIS Committee kicked off Round 4. LMH FC had started the day well with victory and following the lunch break could they re-start with another? They would have their work cut out against a team who had 12 wins out of 12 in the Budapest Fives group phase dating back to 2014. If you include all eurofootballfives.com competitions they have won 21 of 22 group games (they drew the other).

CIS Committee currently lead the Group B table by 4 points and a fourth win of the day here would secure Cup qualification and the Group B title with a game to spare. LMH FC could climb to 2nd with a win and other results going their way but that didn't likely from the moment that Henadzi Nestsiuk put CIS Committee 1-0 up.

Valeri Ivashka made it 2-0 before the break and LMH FC had a mountain to climb against such illustrious opponents. The task then became near impossible when Ivashka struck his fourth of the tournament after half-time to make it 3-0 and secure the win.

CIS Committee's 100% record on the day and in the group phase of the Budapest Fives was preserved. They were through to the Cup and were many people's favourites to win the tournament overall.

Next up was FC Broxelona B versus Fejlodes. In Group B there was all to play for with just 2 points separating 2nd and 5th position at the start of Round 4. With just 1 game to go now was the time for these teams to make their move – if possible of course.

FC Broxelona B were currently in second position and a win here would go a long way into securing qualification for the Cup. Fejlodes were in 4th but could go second if they were able to take all 3 points.

It was FC Broxelona B who took the lead as they had done in each of their games (except the 0-0) thanks to a strike from Jason Ayton. They had conceded just one goal thus far, keeping two clean sheets in a row and a third would secure all 3 points. It was so far so good at half-time, 1-0.

FC Broxelona B were not to achieve that third clean sheet though as Zsolt Kormendy struck a second half penalty to level things up. Just as they had been in Round 1, FC Broxelona B had been pegged back. It almost got better for Fejlodes late on when Nikita Petenko hit the bar but it was not to be. The game finished 1-1.

The draw, whilst clearly better than defeat, did not help either team too much but it was slightly better for FC Broxelona B who edged closer to Cup qualification but still with work to do. Fejlodes were also still able to reach the Cup going into the final round of games.

Budapest Celtic Hoops came into Round 4 propping up the table but if they could win their final 2 games they could still potentially make the Cup but more likely reach the Plate. Athletic Pasty had just recorded their first win and if they could make it 2 in 2 then 2nd position could beckon.

Joe Jackson of Athletic Pasty had a goal per game record up to now and that record would continue in this game as he put Athletic Pasty ahead with his fourth of the tournament. If we had a “live” league table going Athletic Pasty were leading the way for the 2nd Cup qualification place.

The 1-0 lead remained intact until half-time. Athletic Pasty goalkeeper Dan Ablett was hunting down a second successive clean sheet and if successful then the 3 points were in the bag. Budapest Celtic Hoops were able to prevent Athletic Pasty increasing their lead but going forward were ultimately unable to breach the Athletic Pasty defence. The score remained 1-0 at full-time.

Athletic Pasty were well positioned in second place, Budapest Celtc Hoops remained in 6th position.
