Balotellitubbies
were the final team to get their campaign started
when they took on FC Miracle.
As
we saw above, FC Miracle had finished Runners-Up
here in 2011. In between that appearance and this
one they had competed across Europe. In the 2012
Algarve Open they were equally as strong winning
Group C and winning 5 successive games before
losing in the Cup Semi-Finals 1-0 to CFC A of
France. It was third time lucky for FC Miracle
at the 2012 Valencia Fives when they powered their
way to a first eurofootballfives.com victory.
At the 2013 Mallorca Fives they reached the Cup
Semi-Finals where they lost 4-2 to Grant Thornton
from Paris. It means, in their 4 previous tournaments
they have won once, finished 2nd once, and gone
out to French teams in Semi-Finals on the other
2 occasions.
We
went goal crazy in this game – at both ends! We
had five goals to enjoy during the opening half
as it was a game to be a forward and not a defender.
FC Miracle edged the opening period 3-2 as goals
from Janos Molnar, Zsolt Laszlo and Zeno Hegedus
outgunned strikes from Steven Markey and Bela
Deak Vecsi.
In
the second half FC Miracle eased away from their
opponents as Laszlo Horvath (2), Janos Gal and
Gergo Tako all scored. There was a symmetry to
the scoring for Balotellitubbies as Steven Markey
and Bela Deak Vecsi both scored in the second
period to add to their first half efforts.
The
7-4 scoreline was the second highest scoring game
of the day and FC Miracle had a maximum 6 points
from their two games.
