The final round of Group A fixtures got underway with a huge amount still at stake, as just three points separated the top five teams. With everyone approaching their final group match, the permutations were numerous and the margins for error incredibly small. A strong result could secure Cup qualification, while a disappointing performance could leave a team eliminated or facing the Plate instead. F.R. Ady began the match in third place and knew victory over the leaders would take them above their opponents. TEAM Polonia Limerick, meanwhile, remained top despite suffering their first defeat of the tournament in their previous outing. A draw would be enough to guarantee the Polish side a place in the Cup, but the defending champions were determined to keep their title defence alive.

F.R. Ady made the breakthrough through Levente Lelek, giving the Hungarians an important early advantage in a match where every goal could prove decisive. TEAM Polonia Limerick responded through Kacper Kusiak, who continued his recent scoring form by finding the net for the second game in succession to restore parity at 1-1. With the teams level at half-time, the tension remained high and neither side could afford to lose focus. The second half, however, belonged to F.R. Ady. Lelek struck again to put the Hungarians back in front, before Szabo Csaba added a third to give the defending champions valuable breathing space and leave Polonia facing an uphill battle.

The final whistle confirmed a 3-1 victory for F.R. Ady, a result that secured their place in the Cup knockout stages and kept their title defence very much alive. After a surprisingly inconsistent start to their group campaign, the Hungarians had delivered when it mattered most, overcoming the league leaders in a crucial final-round encounter. For TEAM Polonia Limerick, the defeat was a setback after such an impressive start, but they remained in second place at the final whistle. With three teams below them still having a game in hand, however, their qualification was not yet completely settled, leaving the Polish side anxiously awaiting the remaining results.

The penultimate match of Group A carried enormous consequences for both sides, with JK Silvertown needing a victory to keep their Cup ambitions alive and Athletico Madridlesborough looking to secure their place in the knockout stages. JK Silvertown began the round in fourth on six points, while Athletico had slipped from second to third following F.R. Ady's earlier victory. For the East London side, the equation was particularly demanding: they needed to win by three goals to overtake TEAM Polonia Limerick on goal difference, although Dumpling CF could still have a say in the final group standings. Athletico, on seven points, had a more straightforward target, knowing a win would guarantee Cup qualification and put them in an excellent position to claim top spot.

Athletico came flying out of the blocks and delivered a devastating first-half performance, racing into a 3-0 lead. George Hayward was once again the main threat, scoring twice to take his tournament tally to eight and then nine goals, strengthening his position at the top of the scoring charts. In between those strikes, Alex Household also found the net, registering his third goal of the competition as Athletico looked to have put the match beyond JK Silvertown's reach. However, the East London side refused to surrender their hopes without a fight. Joey Chapman pulled a goal back before Bradley Bowers struck again, setting up a tense finish as JK Silvertown threatened an extraordinary comeback. Despite their spirited second-half response, they could not find the equaliser, and the match ended 3-2 to Athletico.

The victory confirmed a sensational achievement for Athletico Madridlesborough, who won Group A on goal difference in their tournament debut despite competing in a fiercely contested group. They now advanced to the Cup with real momentum. For JK Silvertown, the narrow defeat was a bitter blow after their brave recovery, leaving them in fourth place for the time being. Their Plate qualification hopes now depended on Dumpling CF losing the final Group A fixture; anything else could leave JK Silvertown facing elimination.

Dumpling CF brought the Group A campaign to a close having already established themselves as one of the stories of the day. After losing their opening two matches and conceding 12 goals, the English side had produced two sensational results, defeating defending champions F.R. Ady before stunning previously unbeaten league leaders TEAM Polonia Limerick. Athletico Madridlesborough's victory in the preceding match had ended Dumpling's hopes of reaching the Cup, but the Plate remained firmly within their grasp. A draw against already eliminated RAF Boulmer would be enough to secure a knockout place, although their opponents had the freedom to play without the pressure of qualification. If Dumpling CF had demonstrated anything throughout the day, it was that no result could be taken for granted.

The match began in spectacular fashion, with both teams producing stunning long-range strikes from around the halfway line. Munveer Virdee gave Dumpling the lead, only for Alex Millington to respond for RAF Boulmer and level the score at 1-1. Dumpling soon regained control through Will Coleman, who struck twice to put his side 3-1 ahead at the interval. Having already shown their ability to upset the group's strongest teams, Dumpling were now looking increasingly dangerous in attack, and their confidence continued to grow after the restart. Robert Earles extended the advantage to 4-1 before Ollie Roberts added a fifth, leaving RAF Boulmer with a daunting task.

Sam Clark then joined the scoresheet to make it six, before Roberts grabbed his second of the match to complete a remarkable 7-1 victory. It was an emphatic finish to Dumpling CF's group campaign with 3 successive wins that gave them huge momentum going into the Plate competition. The result also confirmed JK Silvertown's elimination, a cruel outcome for a side that had been competing for Cup qualification earlier in the round. We also said goodbye to RAF Boulmer who had certainly played their part in festivities today.
