In
the Open Age section all eyes were on Ecuador
100% who were aiming to become the first team
to win four consecutive titles at the same event.
They were pushed close by Australia's Average
Joes in the Quarter-Finals but went out on penalties.
They were taken to penalties again by W London
in the Semis and this time couldn't repeat the
feat. This was the first time they had been eliminated
at the Mallorca Fives since September 2018! An
amazing result for W London. In the Cup Final
though, Team Rock, who had won 7 out of 7, completed
the perfect campaign with a 2-0 victory for Spain.

In
the Veterans section, we had teams from China,
Ecuador, England,, Poland and Spain (mainland
and Mallorca) all assembled to battle it out for
the title of 2024 Mallorca Fives Veterans champions.
Although
Ecuador 100% had lost their title, their compatriots
in the Veterans - Aston Birra - went all the way
to success to ensure glory for Ecuador. The South
Americans did not find it easy though needing
to beat Polish opposition in both the Semi-Finals
and Final on penalties. Commiserations to our
runners-up Lucanos Locos.

On a glorious
summer's day we had an amazing day of football
to enjoy and when the referee blew the final whistle
in the Cup Final it was Foot 130 A who emerged
victorious. They'd battled with Mitre FC A in
the group phase and then again in the Cup Final
but ultimately they had enough quality to take
the title. This was their second title in 11 months
having won the 2023 Amsterdam Fives. Mitre FC
A had won the 2023 Barcelona Fives Plate and now
had a Cup runners-up finish on their eurofootballfives.com
CV.

It
was great to be back in Amsterdam for our triple
header of Fives, Sevens and Sixes on the 13th
(Fives, Sevens) and 20th July (Sixes). In the
Fives Cup competition there was a first ever Swiss
win as they took the title won by Foot 130 of
France last year. Luca Toni FC defeated Jamaica
Bell in the Cup Final to win the ultimate prize.
In
the Plate competition there was travelling success
for Tilbury Douglas who finished the tourrnament
strongly and were worthy winners with just 1 defeat
in 7 games. They defeated Argon'ze A of France
who collected second place medals.

Our journey
began in April 2007 with our first ever Fives
event in Krakow. We added Sixes tournaments to
our calendar in Amsterdam in 2017. After over
120 such events we added Sevens to our menu in
2022. Humble Goats won the 2022 and 2023 Amsterdam
Sevens and were hunting down a hat-trick of titles.
This year they could 'only' manage the Semi-Finals
as they were eliminated on penalties against WWK
DB. Some believed that would have made WWK DB
favorites but they hadn't accounted for Scoop
FC who defeated WWK DB 1-0 at the end of the group
phase and again in the Cup Final. With 2 victories
over fellow finalists there could be no doubt
that Scoop FC were worthy winners!

It
was great to be back in Amsterdam for the sixth
edition of the Amsterdam Sixes. On a glorious
summer's day we had another sold out full tournament.
After 36 games of action, FC NoeNoe emerged victorious
to hold the cherished trophy aloft.
Humble
Goats came close and finished second as they were
denied victory with a second half comeback from
FC NoeNoe. Humble Goats had now finished runners-up
in 2022 and 2024.

Returning
to Krakow – the birthplace of our very first tournament
back in 2007 – always feels special, and this
year's event more than lived up to the occasion.
Under sunny skies and with a buzzing atmosphere,
Ball Bashers claimed their second eurofootballfives.com
title, seeing off strong competition throughout
the day. In a tightly contested Cup Final, they
held a narrow 2-1 lead against 2017 champions
Big Time Krakow, who were pushing hard for an
equaliser before Ben William's decisive hat-trick
goal sealed victory for the English side.
In
the Plate competition, Barrymoore's Swimming Club
edged out 2021 Plate winners Alea Iacta Est in
one of the tournament's most dramatic encounters.
After a 2-2 draw in regular time and a deadlocked
penalty shootout, it was Amir Bakkar who held
his nerve to score the winning spot kick. The
tournament's Golden Boot went to Sam Cassidy of
Cruz Del Sur, who lit up the day with a remarkable
9 goals.

The
2024 eurofootballfives.com season came to a thrilling
conclusion in the stunning city of Porto – our
third Portuguese host and 17th European destination.
With its vibrant energy, top-class facilities,
and electric atmosphere, Porto proved a fitting
location for the season finale, delivering another
memorable chapter in our tournament history.
Polonia
Limerick were the stars of the show, clinching
their first Cup title on their third eurofootballfives.com
appearance. After lifting the Plate in Barcelona
2022 and finishing runners-up in Mallorca 2023,
the Polish side finally went one better, overcoming
5ive Guys in an exciting Cup Final to secure their
long-awaited triumph. In the Plate competition,
it was also a case of third time lucky for France's
Bear Ballerz, who grabbed their first trophy with
a hard-fought 2-1 win over Stats FC after previous
campaigns in Amsterdam. A fitting end to a fantastic
season!

The
Veterans tournament in Porto brought together
teams from England, France, Poland, and Portugal
for a truly international showdown. Amidst the
sun-soaked pitches and competitive spirit, it
was England's JK Silvertown who stole the show,
storming to victory with a flawless 100% record.
Fresh off their Plate win at the 2023 Barcelona
Fives, they stepped up in style this year, winning
all 7 of their games, conceding just 3 goals,
and finishing with the tournament's top two scorers
and the best goal difference. It was a dominant
display from start to finish.
Poland's
Lucanos Locos proved worthy contenders, matching
JK Silvertown stride for stride throughout the
day. They won 6 of their 7 matches and pushed
the champions all the way, but a narrow 2-1 defeat
in their head-to-head clash ultimately made the
difference. A high-quality finale to a superb
Veterans event in Porto.

History
was made in Porto as we hosted our first ever
Super Veterans tournament – and it was fitting
that some of the eurofootballfives.com greats
were there to take part. Fresh from their Open
Age triumph, Polonia Limerick completed an extraordinary
double. With everything riding on the final game,
they needed a win to leapfrog Scotland's Peebles
All Stars and seal the title.
A
tense showdown saw Bart Baranski emerge as the
hero, netting the only goal in a 1-0 win over
Bure Park Old Boys to secure the crown. It was
a day to remember for the Polish side, who showed
resilience and quality across both tournaments.
Peebles All Stars pushed them to the wire and
were worthy runners-up in what proved to be a
fantastic debut edition of the Super Veterans
competition.
