Sloane FC and Abdi met in the Plate semi-final with both sides looking to extend their Lisbon Fives campaigns after finishing third and fourth respectively in their groups. Sloane FC had shown a competitive group stage record, winning two of their four matches and only losing to the league winners and the defending champions. Abdi arrived having managed just one victory but still showing attacking capability across a challenging Group B campaign. That victory came early and they had lost 3 in a row.

The opening stages were tightly contested, but Abdi gradually grew into the game and took the lead via the influence of Flavio Oliveira. The Portuguese attacker struck twice in the first half, giving Abdi a 2–0 advantage at the break and putting Sloane FC under real pressure to respond after a difficult opening period. Sloane FC believed they had found a route back into the match when a goal was initially awarded, only for it to be ruled out moments later, a decision that added a layer of controversy to the contest. While it remains unclear from our position (we were following the match on Pitch B at the time) whether the decision was correct, the disallowed goal proved to be a pivotal moment, as Sloane FC's momentum was halted at a key stage in the game. In the second half, Abdi capitalised on that shift and closed out the match in commanding fashion, with Rui Silva scoring twice to extend the lead to 4–0 and secure a comprehensive victory on paper at least. In reality it was closer than the score suggested. Abdi progressed to the Plate final, while Sloane FC were left to reflect on a frustrating ending to their tournament after a promising group stage campaign.

Barcesloana and L'Albiceleste met in the second Plate semi-final with both sides looking to continue their tournament on a positive note after contrasting group stage trajectories. Barcesloana had recovered from a difficult start in Group B, losing their opening two matches before rallying with two wins to finish third, while L'Albiceleste had taken an opposite path, winning their opener but then slipping into a run of three consecutive defeats. With both teams showing flashes of quality but inconsistency, this semi-final promised a closely fought contest.

The first half was tight and competitive, with L'Albiceleste edging the key moments and gradually asserting control in possession. Their pressure paid off through Lionel le Dinh, who struck to give the French side a 1–0 advantage at half-time. After the break, L'Albiceleste doubled their lead through Thibault Kerouredan, continuing his excellent individual scoring form after a hat-trick in the opening game of the tournament. Barcesloana responded quickly through Giovanni Boffa to reduce the deficit to 2–1 and bring themselves firmly back into contention, but Olivier Douard restored the two-goal cushion with what proved to be a crucial strike for 3–1.

Despite Barcesloana's persistence, including a second goal of the match from Boffa to make it 3–2 and set up a tense finish, L'Albiceleste held firm under pressure to secure a narrow victory. It was a hard-fought 3–2 win for the French side, who progressed to the Plate final, while Barcesloana were left to reflect on a spirited but ultimately unsuccessful comeback attempt.
