The
climax of the day's events had arrived - The 2023
Amsterdam Sevens Cup Final.
Whilst
those teams who had battled hard yet already departed
could enjoy a nice cool beer, the BBQ and enjoy
the spectacle of the tournament climax there was
still work to do for our two finalists. What a
Cup Final we had in prospect!

Humble
Goats were looking to make history by becoming
only the third team in eurofootballfives.com history
to successfully defend a title. Since 2007, in
over 140 tournaments, only Athletico Do Hollande
and Ecuador 100% had achieved this. The former
winning the 2010 & 2011 Algarve Opens whilst
the latter had won the 2019, 2022 and 2023 Mallorca
Fives.
Uden
Filter were also looking to make history by becoming
the first Danish winners of a eurofootballfives.com
event. Danish Dynamites had been the closest until
today when they reached the Cup Semi-Finals of
the 2017 Barcelona Fives.
