Game 6 in Group D saw 1 st meet 2 nd as Maniche's Mean Machine were looking to end a run of 5 successive victories for Olympic Phil Babb in eurofootballfives.com competition. It didn't look good as Chris Jarrett put Olympic Phil Babb ahead and retained their lead at half-time. The second half was a different story though and Maniche's Mean Machine provided a sting in the tail when Liam Dutson equalized. There were no further goals as the game finished 1-1 and these two sides had consolidated their position at the top of Group D leaving the others to chase them down.

Top Gun & Weasel had proved solid with two consecutive goalless draws until they met Amigos da Loira. The Portuguese team swept aside this fine defensive record and raced to a 3-0 lead by half time. Ricardo Fenneista was the first to get one past Alex Price. Where he led, Anderson Nielo followed with the second and David Dido a third. The second half saw no further goals and the 3-0 win saw Amigos da Loira jump from 5th to 3rd with Top Gun & Weasel slipping to fourth.

CSF Benfica had steadied the ship in their last game but would now meet a buoyant Maniche's Mean Machine following their point against Olympic Phil Babb. They took this momentum into their game with CSF Benfica as Liam Dutson opened the scoring before a 1 st half double from Rich Allen. In the second half Lee Burs on added a fourth and Liam Dutson a fifth to round off the scoring in a comfortable 5-0 victory.

Olympic Phil Babb were looking to get back to winning ways after their last game draw. Top Gun & Weasel were looking to be more solid after a game to forget versus Amigos da Loira. It was a much better performance from them and they had managed to hold their illustrious opponents to 1-1 at half-time. Joe Wille scored for Olympic Phil Babb whilst Alun Chorlton had scored Top Gun & Weasel's first of the tournament. The second half was also close but the team hunting down the Group D had just enough to edge past their opponents thanks to a James Cooper strike. The win earned Olympic Phil Babb the Group D title whilst Top Gun & Weasel would be sweating on the result of CSF Benfica versus Amigos Da Loira for their fate.

CSF Benfica would need a win to avoid the Wooden Spoon and make the Plate to leapfrog Top Gun & Weasel. Any other result and it would be Amigos da Loira plus Top Gun and Weasel representing Group D in the plate. CSF Benfica had yet to score so they would need to break this duck in order to go through. Michael Ofori did exactly this to build upon his goals in the 2008 Krakow Trophy.

The goal could not prevent a 2-1 deficit at half-time as Anderson Nielo bagged both goals for Amigos da Loira. Anderson Nielo completed his hat-trick in the second half to virtually seal this game. A fourth goal from David Dida completed the scoring to secure a 4-1 win.
