The 2012 eurofootballfives tournament season kicked off in sensational style on a fantastic day in Barcelona. In the Cup competition we saw an amazing triple-pronged challenge from Budapest Celtic with two of the Hungarian sides making the Semi-Finals losing narrowly on Golden Goal and penalties.

Their two conquerors Saipan FC (Ireland) and Black Sheep (Spain) played out a keenly contested Final which went all the way to extra time before a Golden Goal for the Spanish decided the title.

In the Plate we saw Futbol 7 collect the winners trophy and medals over English debutants Barley FC. The Wooden Spoon was picked up by Stagatasaray and individual honours went to Argentine Luiz Noufel with an amazing return of 15 goals on the day for Budapest Celtic.

From Spain we moved on to Hungary for the 2012 Budapest Fives - one of our youngest tournaments on the circuit in just it's 2nd season. The Budapest tournament got off to an amazing start in 2011 and this year's event was no disappointment and was arguably even better.

With teams from England, France, Hungary, Ireland and Romania all assembled the 18 team line-up set about their tasks under the glorious Hungary sun. At the end of the day it was ABC United of Hungary who were crowned champions in the Cup and Csabagyongye of Hungary who were victorious in the Plate.

We can't wait for 2013 for another feast of football in Budapest.

The 2012 Algarve Open is consistently one of our most popular events with 20 teams annually since 2009. We had teams travel in from England, France, Hungary, Ireland and Portugal to compete and when we got to the Semi-Final stage we had 4 different nationalities all with a chance of glory.

At the final shake up it was Mandem United who stormed to victory in the Cup. In the Plate it was debutants Contejus Hurricanes who claimed the trophy when they defeated Dark Horses in the Final. Individiual honours went to France's Marc Hochar of CFC who returned to Paris with the Top Goalscorer Award..

The 2012 Berlin Fives marked eurofootballfives.com's debut in Germany and it was an amazing start to our German adventures with a record 24 teams assembled to do battle.

It was our largest ever tournament to date and when the final whistle blew on the day's activities it was Rigford Seahawks who claimed the inaugural 2012 Berlin Fives title. It was their second Cup success after lifting the 2009 Krakow Trophy title. It was their fourth victory in all as they can also boast Plate success in the 2009 Prague Trophy and 2011 Amsterdam Fives.

In today's Plate tournament it was a second victory for GBS Reds of the Czech Republic to add to their 2010 Prague Trophy success.

Finally, we had a brand new competition - The Trophy - which was claimed by Hertha Beerlin in the most dramatic of fashions via a penalty shoot-out.

The Berlin Fives has gone straight back into our schedule for 2013 - why not join us?

The Mallorca Tournament entered it's second year in 2012 and it provided arguably the strongest field we've ever had in eurofootballfives.com tournament history. There were no less than 5 previous winners competing for the ultimate prize. However, all had fallen by the way-side at the end of the Cup Quarter-Finals meaning a brand new name would lift a eurofootballfives.com trophy. That team was Cosegur Balear of Spain.

In the Plate competition there was an incredible run from Norton Hill Old Boys who put 3 early defeats behind them to go unbeaten in 5 matches and lift the Plate Trophy.

There was individual success for Daniel Powell who was the tournament top goalscorer - the second time in eurofootballfives.com action as he also lifted the golden boot award at the 2011 Amsterdam Fives.

It was a great day of tournament action played out at a superb venue, in a superb location under glorious weather and in a great atmosphere. We can't wait for 2013 - click here for details.

The 2012 Amsterdam Fives proved to be a fantastic day of sporting occasion with teams from across the UK and across the Netherlands assembled to do battle for European tournament victory.

CEPL claimed their first eurofootballfives.com victory at the 3rd attempt. They came close in the 2011 Krakow Trophy finishing second but went one step further in Amsterdam to take the ultimate prize. El A Dees were gallant runners-up and boasted the tournament's top goalscorer with 13 goals in 7 games as Oliver Wood picked up the trophy.

In the Plate competition it was also third time lucky for Wilhelmus who picked up the winners medals after two semi-final defeats in 2009 and 2010. Room 20 were second marking a fine debut for them.

The tournament saw JNJ offices from across Europe come together for a great day's competition. The tournament was supported by teams from 9 nations including Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Latvia, Russia, Serbia and Switzerland.

it was an amazing weekend and a fantastic day of football thoroughly enjoyed by all and no-one more than the victorious Croatian team who celebrated in fine style. The Croatian team also boasted the tournament top goalscorer in the form of Hrvoje Glavas.

In the Plate competition there was home victory for Slavoj Consumer. For England it was a case of close but no cigar as JNJ High Wycombe Warriors and JNJ Pinewood finished runners-up in the Cup and Plate competition respectively.

On a great day of international competition with teams from England, Germany and Poland, plus many other nationalities represented in the playing squads, it was Skidmarks who emerged victorious when they beat Polish team Vamos 1-0 in the Cup Final. It meant Skidmarks had a 100% record with 2 wins in 2 tournaments....only Olympic Phil Babb could match that when they won their first 4 eurofootballfives.com tournaments.

In the Plate competition there was success for SV Zoo of Germany who certainly justified their trip from Berlin. It did not look good for them to start with as they were 3-0 down in the Plate Final before recovering for a 4-3 victory. Never write off the Germans.

The personal honours of the day went to Ian Corkhill of Cracow United who took the top goalscorer prize with 9 goals on the day.....not bad as played in goal for the first 3 games.

The 2012 Valencia Fives was our fourth annual 5-a-side football tournament in this great Spanish city and it proved to be one of the best tournaments we've ever had with 24 teams assembling to battle it out for the title.

FC Miracle of Hungary claimed their first victory following a Runners-Up (2011 Barca Fives) and a Semi-Final (2012 Algarve Open) finish in previous tournaments. They defeated Ireland's Mestallaban in the Cup Final who must have put in the most improved performance in a eurofootballfives.com tournament following two previous Prague excursions.

The Plate Final was contested by two debutants as Club Tropicana Drinks FC and Deportivo came head-to-head. A 3-0 victory saw Deportivo pick up the winners medals who also beat the defending Plate champions Kings Old Boys in the Semi-Finals.

The tournament marked eurofootballfives.com's joint largest ever tournament to date (equalling the 2012 Berlin Fives) with 24 teams and saw our second ever "Trophy" tournament. This was a third tier competition within the tournament to complement our traditional "Cup" and "Plate" competitions. The Trophy Final was won by Sporting Abeergut defeating FC Dad 3-2 to take the Trophy honours.
