If you are looking for a Budapest football tour we can highly recommend the Budapest Fives 5-a-side Football Tournament as a great end of season tour for your team. The standard is amateur/social so whether you are a 5-a-side football team, a corporate team or just a group of friends looking for a European football challenge then this is for you.

The Budapest Fives is also perfect for your Budapest stag weekend. Football is a great way of getting everyone on your stag trip involved with an inexpensive and inclusive activity to cater for all abilities and all tastes.

The debut Budapest Fives is 2011 was a runaway success and became our fastest selling tournament of the year when it sold out as early as November 2010. The tournament continues to be popular so we recommend booking early to guarantee your space at the tournament when we return to the Hungarian capital in 2019.

The tournament has attracted teams from Argentina, Belarus, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Spain and Sweden since its inception.

The Budapest nightlife is one of the best in Europe and this beautiful city is a fantastic setting for you culture vultures by day. Budapest is located outside the eurozone and uses the Forint so works out relatively cheap compared to the Pound or the Euro so more beers for your buck!

Budapest 5-a-side Football Tournament Details

Date:	Saturday 21st September, 2019	Location:	Budapest, Hungary
Standard:	Social, Amateur	Number of teams:	15
Squad Sizes:	5 - 10 players	Surface:	Artificial Grass
Teams:	Male only	Minimum age:	16
Competitions:	Cup and Plate
Rules:	Standard FIFA 11-a-side rules but no-offsides, rolling subs and goalkeepers can not kick from the hand.

Format: 3 groups of 5 teams will play in the group stages. The top two teams progress to the Cup along with the two best 3rd placed teams. The Cup will then be played on a knockout basis QF, SF and Final. The remaining teams will progress to the Plate which will also be played on a knockout basis.
